Why does the bos stay in the commonwealth AFTER the institute is destroyed by the sole survivor?

It's not like that there is anything holding them back from leaving, and even after you give the reactor coolant to them they still stay. You could say that they are staying there for the technology, but isn't the entire point that the pridwen was there was to pick up Dance and destroy the institute? The institute is already destroyed, and in the eyes of the bos, the real dance is dead ( I mean he can also be alive but that's a choice the sole survivor makes).

    Why are they sticking around?

Did the NCR have any working vehicles other than vertibirds and trucks?

I have seen in the Long 15 that the NCR seems to have used trucks to move supplies to the Mojave wasteland and a vertibird I assume was captured by the enclave was used to escort President Kimball to Hoover dam. Are there now cars that NCR citizens can drive because it seems the BOS has had working vehicles Too, so does the NCR use boats or normal cars back in the homeland?
