    Doing a bit of roleplay in New Vegas and I decided to go with a cowboy this run so here's some backstory.

    -Name's Calhoun. Ma taught him to read, Pa taught him to shoot, the other kids in town taught him how to fight. He comes from a little watering hole in what used to be called Oklahoma. His ancestors came from a vault where all the law and able bodied adults were given six shooters and their only entertainment was old western flicks and story books. Arguments were settled with quick-draw duels and the mess halls and rooms were covered in western memorabilia. When the vault eventually opened up again, some of the residents went their own way, but the others eventually found an old western stop along the ruined tracks. After some fixing up, the town soon attracting traders heading east from California, giving them news that the world hadn't been completely lost.

    Many years later after his Ma passed Calhoun decided to make his way west, hoping to find his fortune. Things were a bit rough until he came across Arizona. Much fewer aggressive tribals and raiders and soon he realized why, coming across a village bearing the banner of a Bull. Eventually Calhoun crossed the Colorado and made his way into the Mojave surrounding New Vegas where he found a grim sight.

    It wasn't uncommon to find corpses along the road and this one had been picked clean. A few letters left in his bag addressed to some folk in California, but what caught Calhoun's attention was a poker chip clutched in his hand. A good luck charm maybe, but probably one that ran out. Figured the least he could do was get these letters to an outpost or something so someone could get them where they were going. Little did Calhoun know, someone else was watching him.

    That night after he had stopped in the town of Goodsprings, he made camp near the outskirts of town. A can of beans later and a lay down on his mat, he woke up the sound of something rustling closer only to feel a sharp pain on the back of his head before passing out. He awoke after what felt like hours to be greeted by a man in a checkered suit and bright lights in the distance. His hands and legs were bound as his henchmen lifted him to his knees. The man gave him a speech about bad luck before reaching for a pistol in his jacket. A single gunshot was the last thing Calhoun heard.

    Thoughts raced through his head, memories of his Ma and Pa, the girls at the tavern, some of the sights he had seen on his way to California, before things went dark. His eyes opened to a bright light, figuring he was at the pearly gates of heaven, only for things to come into focus, staring at a ceiling fan. He soon found out that a Doctor by the name of Mitchell had fixed him up over the last few days and got him back to his feet. He had one thing on his mind now. To find the snake that left him in that grave.-

    Sorry for the book, but safe to say Benny is six feet under and Calhoun had his revenge, but is now tangled in the future of Mojave. I'm not entirely sure which faction to go with going forward. I've made him as a revolver/rifle user with Guns, Repair, Survival tags. Don't use stimpacks or other chems, just things like healing powder or other survival items (I tagged survival, so I'm gonna use it.) I feel he has more of a neutral outlook on most things, actions speak louder than words kind of guy but he's not above acts of charity if he feels it could actually help people.

    TL;DR: Cowboy can't choose a faction, please help.

    What mods are best and worst in New Vegas?

    Im looking for recommendations for what mods are genuinely good i can install without a 2nd guess and so horrifyingly BAD that i can avoid like the plague. Im not "New" to New Vegas, i have about 53.5 hours on it however due to a hard locking issue that i got fixed, i had to delete all saves just in case.

    I'm practically lost on the modding scene. Sure, i could only go with the highest rated mods and ignore the rest but i love to give mods an equal chance but i need to know what mods to avoid due to how horrendous they are. ANY AND ALL SUGGESTIONS I WILL TAKE INTO ACCOUNT. So voice your opinion!

    oHud bug that I can't get rid of

    I'm playing modded fnv and oHud mod ( which you all know and love) has a visual bug I can't fix. Basically, when a change to melee or unarmed weapon, the ammo of the last gun I used stayed, It bothers me so much I deleted the mod 2 or 3 times. I found 2 separate people talking about this but there is no solution or fix I could find, so can you help me, please?

    Hello there, I was wondering if anyone could help me with an issue I just noticed. When I first came to Novac I noticed some of the ground were floating above the ground. I have only seen this happen in Novac and I am not sure which one of my mods is causing the issue. I haven't had any serious ground issues like this anywhere else in the game so far, but I would still like the figure out the problem. I have a couple mods that alter environments so I am not sure how to pinpoint which one is causing the problem, if you have any advice on that I would love to hear it. Thank you for any help you could give me.
