    Started a No HUD play through on Hard Difficulty and Hardcore mode on Xbox, getting pretty good at third person no HUD shooting

    And wow wow wow wow. Such an amazing game. I haven't like 3 or 4 that much or even the more recent Elder Scrolls games but this one is different. There's so much freedom of choice. I got the good guy NCR ending but I'm planning on doing 3 more playthroughs so I can side with the other 3 factions.

    Recently found out that you can legitimately obtain Eulogy jones' hat. Exactly give rotface 10 caps for ten tips. Walk out of freeside through the gate and walk back in. He'll be wearing it and you can reverse pickpocket it from him.

    Is caesars legion's successor really lanius?

    I highly doubt that Lanius is caesars real successor. Vulpes or Lucius could easily be the new leader. To act as if Caesar would only pick a psychopathic warrior to lead his legion I think is rather foolish.

    Surely he has a true successor in his mind that is not someone who will topple his empire. I just don't see that caesar would be so short-minded to decide his successor as someone who is not able to lead in his image/ideology. and if he did pick a successor, why would he tell the player? (this is more head cannon of course, but why would he expose his entire nation's outcome to some random courier that came to help him, but can't help him?)

    What are your thoughts?

    Issues with zfighting

    Hello! So I'm on my first run of fallout new Vegas, I set up using viva new Vegas and it's going great so far, however, select mountain areas have some really obvious zfighting that is super annoying. I've ran the game without mods and it still does this, changed my all my LOD settings from low to high, nothing, installed mods that generated LOD, those don't help, and a lot of other things people have suggested on the web. It's not a super big deal, but it definitely breaks immersion. It also happens with very few textures like the route display on the top of busses, but I have only seen this very few times, it's only mostly occurring with pretty far away mountains. So any advice? I've seen a lot of people just chalk this down to the engine of NV being buggy, but why do some people get it worse than others? If it's something with my computer I'll give my my specs if that is causing any of this. Hope someone has some form of a solution, even if that would be just reducing it and not fixing it entirely. My apologies for the long post, I just really want to fix this! Might be a lost cause but I want to try a few more things before I give up. I'll also upload my mod list if that would help too, but as I said it still happens with an unmodded NV.

    What should I do next?

    Hi couriers!

    I'd like to ask for advice regarding the current playthrough I'm playing:

    I'm idolized by the Boomers; Accepted by the Legion ; Liked by Novac, Goodsprings, the Khans; Smiling Troublemaker by the NCR; and Merciful Thug by the Powder Gangers.

    In terms of quests (I've got most of the Mojave locations unlocked), I need to:

    -Confront Benny

    -Talk to Fantastic

    -Search two vaults for the BoS

    -Do Come fly with me

    -One for my baby

    -Show ED-E to either the BoS or the Followers

    -Investigate Crimson and the Silver Rush for Cass

    -And acquire the Gun Runners' secret and convince Henry Jamison to quit.

    This is the first time I'm playing NV DLCs, I did Honest Hearts when I was level 14, now I'm level 28 and I was thinking of starting another of the DLCs, either Dead Money or Old World Blues depending on your advice. Shall I start either of those two or continue in the Mojave for a while?? My current companions are Cass and ED-E.

    I'd also probably aim to not side with either the NCR and the Legion at the end as I did that the first time I played. I will probably do an independent run (I've heard you can nuke them both in one of the dlcs, is that true? and how would that work for the quests?)

    Purchased DLC's but my mods still won't work

    When I first bought New Vegas on PC a few months back, I followed [this guide](https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2088497711), and I had to work around certain mods that relied on DLC because I only owned the base game. I purchased the Ultimate Edition bundle the other day, so after they all downloaded I re-enabled all the mods that had the DLC's as masters, but when I try to run the game it tells me that I'm still missing masters, and when I check the Vortex plugins tab, all the missing masters are all the DLC's, which I've downloaded and have enabled in Vortex. How do I fix this, does anyone know?

    No mods, Windows 10.

    Every time I fast travel to Poseidon, my game freezes and has to be terminated. Is there a reason for this? Because it doesn't happen nearly as frequently for any other location.

    I've seen this bug to where you can pick up skilled twice. But by doing so could you get the original perk buffs of skilled then pick two other traits? Or if you don't pick skilled the second time does it remove it?

    Help fnv untamate edition

    Any radio mod recommendations?

    I absolutely love the NV song list but it gets repetitive. Can only hear Big Iron so many times per hour and not start to hate it.

    Looking for something similar to Atomic Radio or Old World Radio Boston. Any recommendations would be appreciated.
