Fallout Lore | Why did Joshua Graham stay with Caesar? |
- Why did Joshua Graham stay with Caesar?
- Couldn't Mr. house just had made himself into a Robobrain and controlled his empire from the Lucky 38 while still being mobile?
- What is life like back in the capital wasteland during FO4?
- So what’s up with some of the Modern guns from Fallout 1, 2, and New Vegas? I thought the divergence happened in the 50s, plus we never see them in 4 and 76.
- How do the fiends have access to energy weapons?
- How far west dose the legion extend?
- Is it ever stated that Horses went extinct and if they didn’t why aren’t people taming or using them?
- Is there a reason fusion cores decay while standing still in a vertibird? [FO4]
Why did Joshua Graham stay with Caesar? Posted: 13 Mar 2021 11:18 PM PST Is it mentioned why Graham chose to stay with Caesar during the conquering and creation of the Legion?, Why would a missionary traveller want to join in with creating an army, has it got to do with Graham's bloodlust?. Posted: 13 Mar 2021 02:09 AM PST Someone like Mr. House definitely would have known about the Robobrain Program and certainly could've become one with his connections and money, so why did he opt to be imprisoned in a Tube instead? [link] [comments] |
What is life like back in the capital wasteland during FO4? Posted: 13 Mar 2021 08:24 PM PST So the brotherhood we see in 4 is not the one we met in 3, that much is clear. There's the usual stuff I could go on about, how its a quasi military-religious autotocracy, how they've become more severe, Yada Yada. Let me ask you this however, what is the capital wastes like now? Is it much safer, with all settlements under brotherhood protection, super mutants are a rare sight and not much of a threat, the water is distributed fairly, and all sorts of utopian standards? Or is it worse, with all settlements under brotherhood control, living according to their rules, that water used a tool of oppression to control them, the wastes under maxsons power armored fist? I mean, they took the reactor (i think it was the reactor) for the prydwyn from rivet city, and I dont think any city in the wasteland would give up a working reactor that provides power. So maybe the didn't trade for it, maybe they took it by force. Maybe they wiped out underworld, because they don't tolerate ghouls of any kind. They most likely killed Fawkes and uncle Leo, the nicest super mutants, simply for being mutants. Any dissent would be crushed through overwhelming force, whether they be raiders or a settlement like big town or arefu, or even Megaton. There is no force in the DC wastes big enough or strong enough to stop them, so whos to say that the brotherhood hasn't become something of a tyrant? We also know not all members agreed or supported Maxson, his policies, and his appointment to elder. The scribe, a traveling vendor in FO4, left the brotherhood because he couldn't stand maxson. I'd like to think that three dog became disgusted by the brotherhood, and now decry's them instead of supporting them. Maybe he helps lead some kind of "good fight" against them now, refusing to bow to Maxson. Or maybe they killed him too, when he spoke out or became a nuisance to them. They don't seem to have a problem killing anyone in their way, even their own. Anyway, what to y'all think? [link] [comments] |
Posted: 13 Mar 2021 08:40 AM PST Are they retconned? Do they make sense? At this point, what is the US Army's main weapon? [link] [comments] |

How far west dose the legion extend? Posted: 13 Mar 2021 04:03 PM PST I know that the furthest location mentioned in games was "Denver" by Ulysses, and with the Explorer perk, the Currier says "aint that legion territory". So my question is that the Eastern border to the legion or do they extend even further into Kansas, Oklahoma, or Texas (whats left of the planes if Tactics is to be believed). [link] [comments] |

Is there a reason fusion cores decay while standing still in a vertibird? [FO4] Posted: 13 Mar 2021 09:08 AM PST I know that when you walk, run, or jump in the game, there's fusion core drain that's affected by perks and other goodies we can acquire. Why is it then, when I'm riding in a vertibird and standing still in my own inertial frame, that the cores still drain? I've noticed this on very long flights from the Prydwen over to the Nuka-World entrance where I would lose cores in the middle of a vertibird flight. I understand that there might be a lore-related reason behind why this might happen (i.e. the fusion power generated by the core is only supposed to last so long), but if that were the case, standing still in power armor should drain a core all the same. But upon inspection, that doesn't happen if you just sit in the same spot and put your controller down for a couple hours. Does the game engine still consider our character to be "walking" or engaged in drain-related movement even though we're flying in a vertibird? I swear I'm not going crazy. [link] [comments] |
