Why is everyone so attached to ED-E? Posted: 14 Nov 2020 05:57 AM PST Ive just finished lonesome road and i always know that people really really like ED-E but i really dont know what's the appeal to him its like the dog companions from all the games, i cant build an emotional connection to them because theres nothing really special about them expect for Rex from coming from Big MT. Letting Kimbal finish his speech safely makes no difference Posted: 13 Nov 2020 04:06 PM PST I was doing the Kimbal speech quest on the side of NCR. and I've got to say, as much as I love this game and how well done are parts of that quest, they could have spent an extra hour to make it different if Kimbal finishes the speech safely. Its hard to get him to finish his speech. I had to remove the bomb, snipe the sniper (while using a stealth boy, because if they see me do it they attack me and Kimbal runs) and make sure the engineer doesnt do any funny business. The speech is done, he flies away and everyobe is like "omg, I cant believe President Kimbal was attacked". What?! I mean he was, but how do you know? I handled it on my own and told noone. Also, why cabt I tell someone "yo, that engineer right there, I saw him plant a bomb and took this detonator from him pocket, can we take him aside and punch him to death?". If I attack him everyobe flips out and Boone gets pissed at me for killing NCR. Like... duuuuude... cmon. You saw me take a bomb he planted. It just pisses me off a bit. But oh well... There stands the grass/Koch and Borh( cut content mod) Posted: 14 Nov 2020 10:13 AM PST Is anyone here familiar with this small cut content mod? Because I'm starting to suspect that it may have messed up the Vault 22 quest for me...... Basically this mod is supposed to let you start There stands the grass by simply walking into Vault 22 and talking to this droid npc that it restores, Bohr. He tells you about Keelye and the quest begins with simply the objective of finding the ghoul, giving a quest marker that points to the bottom cave with the plants. The problem is that Keelye isn't there, the quest marker is pointing at a lantern on the ground Have I fucked up by starting the quest by using this cut content mod? If yes, it's no big deal, the main reason I was going to that vault were the mantis eggs and the aer14 rifle. I just want to make sure is all. [link] [comments]
Posted: 14 Nov 2020 06:43 AM PST How do I change it? I know the monitor is don't because I played FNV on xbox on that monitor for years. [link] [comments]

Posted: 13 Nov 2020 10:45 PM PST I want to start by saying I just got a new laptop and wanted to get into modding New Vegas. I have been following the Viva New Vegas guide. I am currently still working through the core section module Utilities. I finished up the section and loaded up New Vegas to test everything so far. And unfortunately, I still have a little bit of a noticeable tick and my character is running faster than normal still. My question is how I should go about getting my character running normal speed and fix the tick? I'm getting about 80-85fps when outside and my refresh rate is 240hz. I guess I thought I've heard people play higher than 60fps on New Vegas. If anyone has an idea on the best way to fix these issues, please let me know! [link] [comments]
