How do Children Atom live in the Glowing sea? Considering feral ghouls Posted: 01 Nov 2020 07:07 PM PST I say this bc I brought a pack of ferals to that children of atom settlement and their guns heal the ferals???? So they accomplish nothing. [link] [comments] |
Why is most technology so inconsistent? Posted: 01 Nov 2020 02:16 PM PST By 2077, there are fully sentient robots that cost as much as a normal household appliance, but video games are still in the 1970's era, and television is still black and white. That never made sense to me, because with such massive advancements with nuclear energy, they couldn't invent color TVs? Also, the institute hasn't moved past 200-year-old computer tech, even though they have fully duplicated a human brain?? It doesn't make sense to me. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 01 Nov 2020 10:02 PM PST I've seen some discussion of this on forums, but it's nearly ancient history. Ever since I first saw Rivet City on my initial playthrough of F3, I loved the idea of it -- I just hated that there were no designations or names associated with the carrier. I've fallen out of the loop with F4 & F76 lore, so I dunno if they've revealed it or not, but I've wondered what it'd have been called in the pre-war USN. I also know that through dialogue, and the appearance of the ship, that it's superstructure is in dire straits. But, is there any mention of what happens to her when Maxson takes over the Brotherhood? Had it rusted into the sea by the events of Fallout 4, or are we largely in the dark about one of F3's most unique locations? [link] [comments] |
Question about gauss gun and pra army Posted: 02 Nov 2020 01:41 AM PST So I'm working on a character that's part of a group of descended from PRC forces stranded on america after the great war much like the shi. I was trying to pick out the weapon and was trying to decide between the m72 gauss rifle and Chinese gauss rifle from 3 and new vegas since they have plenty when I realized I didn't know how the German kind from the og fallout fires. Is the m72 like a single fire bolt type gun or is it semi automatic like the Chinese gauss rifle from 3 and new vegas and the mod for 4 via creation club. Same thing for the gauss pistol, does it fire full auto, semi auto, or bolt? Also an would it be a stretch to assume china used soldiers from countries it annexed and allied nation's like north Korea? [link] [comments] |
How did Samuel Cooke learn about Vault 19? Posted: 02 Nov 2020 01:10 AM PST So Samuel obviously escaped the NCRCF and headed toward Vault 19 with a group of powder gangers, taking advantage of the sulphur deposits underground to craft explosives- but is there any indication as to how he learned about the existence and location of the Vault and the advantageous sulphur deposits? Did the NCR face any diplomatic issues establishing a prison (NCRCF) in Nevada? Posted: 02 Nov 2020 01:07 AM PST |
Posted: 01 Nov 2020 04:53 AM PST Apparently vault 101s experiment was to never open. Eventually forcing everyone to do inbreeding [link] [comments] |
How literate is the average person? Posted: 02 Nov 2020 01:32 AM PST I realised while talking to King about his gang that it's sort of weird he can read the sign as 'school', and I recall several times where there were journals, notes, and other such items around the Mojave/Wastelands, but how common is this? Does it only appear more common because we, the player, are only experiencing only ever shown literate characters, or is literacy as widespread as it seems? [link] [comments] |
