Why is Appalachia so vibrant and alive compared to the rest of the country? Posted: 12 Jun 2020 04:38 PM PDT How come Appalachia has an entire jungle, while the Commonwealth or the Capital Wasteland are mostly barren deserts? [link] [comments] |
Is Virgil aware that the sole survivor is shaun's parent? Posted: 12 Jun 2020 05:39 AM PDT When you first meet virgil you tell him the institute kidnapped your son he responds with " oh... Oh, I'm sorry." It seems like he puts it together but doesn't say anything. I can't think of any other children the institute has taken and im pretty sure its common knowledge within the institute of shaun origins. Is it safe to assume virgil knows you're shaun's parent but doesn't say anything for whatever reason? [link] [comments] |
Posted: 12 Jun 2020 05:37 PM PDT I've never seen any discussion regarding any other doomsday shelter-based companies in the Fallout universe. Even in the games, the only shelters aside from vault-tec vaults are basements, prepper bunkers and smaller, unique bunkers (i.e. Eddie Winter's bunker). Did Vault-Tec have any major competition, and if not, what allowed them to completely dominate the market, and why were no other companies trying to get in on a seemingly very profitable area? Especially considering the state of the world leading up to the day the bombs fell, it'd be surprising if there were no other large businesses trying to cash in on the mass panic and civil unrest occurring at the time. Alternative sources for fallout lore? Posted: 13 Jun 2020 12:19 AM PDT Other than the games is there other materials for fallout lore? Like comics and books? What would be a good place for beginner to start? [link] [comments] |
How did the Children of Atom get Radium Rifles in Far Harbor? Posted: 12 Jun 2020 08:30 AM PDT In Falloit 4s Far Harbor DLC, the Children of Atom use the radium rifle. That rifle is based on the Volkssturmgewehr 1-5, a WW2 era German weapon. Les than 50.000 of these were manufactured. Where did they obtain them from? [link] [comments] |
Why are there super mutants in Bar Harbor? Posted: 12 Jun 2020 09:26 AM PDT Where there institute guys in Maine doing the same F.E.V experiments that Virgil was doing in the Commonwealth? [link] [comments] |
Why do the super mutants have meat bags at their bases? Posted: 12 Jun 2020 11:10 AM PDT Before, I assumed it was for food, but 1) the bags are almost never near an open flame to cook, and there's actually very little mention of them among the super mutants themselves, and 2) there's often times inedible and borderline valuable loot inside them like caps or junk. Is it for food, or is it like a trophy system of things the group has killed? [link] [comments] |
