For my first shot at terrain building, i made my version of Mesquite Mountains Crater. Still remember how mystical it was discovering it on my first playthrough.

    Which ending is your favorite?

    Posted: 09 May 2020 09:33 AM PDT

Fallout: New Vegas is known for its replayability as it's got a few different endings that are all enjoyable in their own distinct ways. There's the Yes Man ending, The New Vegas ending where you side with Mr. House, the Legion ending and the NCR ending. The great thing is also that all those ending vary based on other smaller decisions you make.

My specific favorite ending is siding with the NCR in which I've convinced the Boomers, the Enclave remnants, and the great Khan's to help out. Watching the Enclave remnants drop in a relic of Fallout 2 is just an amazing sight. Along with the massive air fortress the Boomers use to drops bombs all over the Hover dam. The small but noticable backup from the Khan's, and the grand finale of kicking the doors straight into Legate's camp and showing him who's boss.

All of the little things you can do to make one of those endings different in their own ways just adds to why Fallout: New Vegas may be seen as one of the best Fallouts. I want to know what your guy's favorite ending is and what makes it special to you?

TL;DR I chose the NCR, Boomers, Enclave, and Khan's. What about you?

The Ancient Alien City Hidden Below The Mojave

    Posted: 09 May 2020 02:57 AM PDT

Does anyone else think the "ancient alien city" underneath the Mojave Desert (predicted by Lorenzo Cabot in Fallout 4) could be below The Divide (from the Lonesome Road DLC in New Vegas)? Could explain the alien/reptilian like nature of the Tunnelers who only fled to the surface after the multiple nuclear explosions which happened underground. I personally think this could also tie in with The Interloper (from fallout 76) and Ug-Qualtoth (from fallout 3) as well, considering they're inspired by HP Lovecraft and he often wrote of reptilian humanoids who live underground in his works.

a question about the level caps

    Posted: 09 May 2020 05:20 AM PDT

Do you have to start the dlc for the level cap to increase or just have them installed? i'm level 25 and I haven't killed Mr House yet so I'm worried I'll hit it way before finishing the main game

    Can't mod any weapon?

    Posted: 09 May 2020 08:56 AM PDT

Now before you ask, yes I am applying a GRA mod to a GRA tri-beam laser rifle. Now that's out of the way, I can't mod any weapons or even open previously modded weapons to see their mods. When I press X nothing happens, is there anyway to fix this? I tried disabling/uninstalling weapons mods expanded and that didn't work.

Any mod lowering weapon (sell) prices?

    Posted: 09 May 2020 04:28 AM PDT

As stated above. Started a new playthrough with the JSawyer Ultimate mod, good balance when it comes to combat, healing and abilities.

Still a huge issue when a 10MM SMG sells for 2K a pop and Magnums/12.7mm pistols for 3-4K. I am lvl 8 or 9 and already have the Medicine Stick, Terrible shotgun and Gehenna. Explored only from Goodsprings down to Mojave Outpost, then from Sloan through the Scorpion gulch and Repconn/Novac, from there up to 188 and further to gun runners. Literally just killed any small mobs on the way, nothing fancy. The hardest fights I had were viper gangs among the way, from which I got most of the more expensive drops.

Game is still obscenely easy when it comes to money. Any mods improving that? I don't want my biggest challenge being finding a vendor to buy all my shit.
