Are there any other repercussions for Valentine having Kellogg's memories? Posted: 24 May 2020 10:24 PM PDT I remember after you meet Valentine in the memory den Kellogg says something and then Valentine snaps out of it unaware of what happened. Are there any other scenarios in the game where this occurs or any moments where it's suspected "Kellogg" appears? [link] [comments] |
Who is the high elder of the Brotherhood of Steel? Posted: 24 May 2020 02:39 PM PDT Each chapter of the Brotherhood has their own Elder, but the overall leader of the BOS is the High Elder. The first High Elder was Roger Maxson, but I'm curious if any of the modern games mention who the high elder is (especially during Fallout 4). I know the council of Elders appointed Arthur Maxson elder and reintegrated the east coast chapter, but I'm wondering who the high elder is during this time frame. [link] [comments] |
what Was the dunwich company up to? Posted: 24 May 2020 03:38 AM PDT Background-it was a pre-war company that owned the Dunwich Building in Washington, D.C. They made rock-tunneling drills. The company itself was destroyed in the Great War. some cut dialogue from the original version of the Point Lookout) quest The Dark Heart of Blackhall: the company was owned by Richard Dunwich, the brother of Constance Blackhall. The dialogue also mentions both Dunwich and Blackhall's shared "obsession with the occult", hinting that the presence of the obelisk underneath the building was not unintentional (FO3). if the player goes inside the mine they are digging out (FO4), the player get's flashbacks from before the war...at the end of the place, you can get a flashback of what appears to be a sacrifice of sorts. 200 years after the war, it's now in the hands of the raider faction known as "the forged", the leader of this small group of raiders "Bedlam" goes deeper into the mine to find out why a group a her people she sent down have not yet returned.... if the player was to read her last terminal, it hints she saw something that made her lose her mind... I'm safe in the light-(this phase repeats itself quite a few times)- the last terminal entry of bedlam. at the very end of the mine, if the player dives into a pool of water at goes to the very bottom you find a odd statue, it appears that before the war this company was trying to bring it to the surface as above this pool of water is a pre-war mini-crane. was this company a cult? or like a cult? Why are Enclave officers less protected than lower ranked soldiers? Posted: 24 May 2020 07:14 AM PDT Enclave officers, of rank sergeant or major, wear a basic clothing type uniform with little body armor and often come equipped with only a plasma pistol. The soldiers they command, of rank private or Private First Class, wear powered armor suits and get plasma casters. Why is this? Why are officers less protected than their lower ranked soldiers? Is the Enclave incapable of developing comm links between soldiers in power armor? Raven Rock has full manufacturing facilities so I don't think suits were an issue, but even if they are, is there no marine combat armor? Officers are crucial to field operations. At least Sigma Squads had a leader in power armor. (Also when is the Enclave going to get some love in game?) [link] [comments] |
How did harold get to the Capitol wasteland? Posted: 24 May 2020 02:37 PM PDT We know harold was exposed to a mutation the turns him into a tree and we first see him on the west coast but how did he get the east coast and how long did it take? [link] [comments] |
How did the Boomers get fuel for their plane? Posted: 25 May 2020 01:53 AM PDT In Fallout NV, there is a Boomers quest wich makes you salvage an old ww2 era heavy bomber for the boomers. In the Battle for Hoover Dam, when you have the boomers on your side and done all your quests, you see their plane flying abobe the battle and dropping bombs. My question is, how do they get the necessary fuel for the plane? [link] [comments] |
Whats the Deal with West Virginia being nuked during the war? Posted: 24 May 2020 01:57 PM PDT In 76 there are 2 known craters both next to the monorail elevator with two guys who were taking radiation readings. I would assume these are nuclear craters due to radioactivity and the buildings and trees blasted outwards. Another holotape can also be found about a man describing the mushroom cloud outside his house's window. But almost everywhere I look except this sub, people say that West Virginia wasn't nuked and that it isn't canon. So I am pretty confused on what even happened. [link] [comments] |

Do ghouls, feral or not, need to eat? Posted: 24 May 2020 01:59 PM PDT Introduced my gf to fo4 recently and she's been asking some logical questions that I just don't have much of an answer to besides "because radiation, lol" You see alot of them just hanging around and I have to wonder how a huge pack of ferals sustain themselves. I know in FONV there was that one ghoul with the hunting rifle in that night kin infested place. He said he was surviving off rad roach meat so I guess that somewhat answers it. But i mean if these ghouls have been around for 100s of years, that's alot of food they'd have to be finding and immediately after the bombs falling I imagine food would be very hard to come by. Anyone know more about this than me? [link] [comments] |
