| Posted: 22 Mar 2020 09:20 AM PDT I will first mention my complaints, as they are few, but i think they are going to be the more controversial part of this post. 1- mechanics I dont like: Karma: its very hard to maintain a stable karma setting, its pretty wacky too in that you can lose karma from stealing from leigonaires, yet gain it from killing them. (I know, i know, th game is 10yrs old but its pretty stupid nonetheless) Stealth: Stealth is broken in two opposite extremes; People never see you, people always see you. Could be me leveling stealth gradually, idk, you guys can correct me on that Speech/Barter checks: this really pisses me off, since I was essentially locked out of Cassidy's questline AND the crimson caravan Questline since I was playing a character with 15 speech, these shouldn't be mandatory for questlines as important and influential as these, I get talking lanius and the Ncr general out of combat, thats what speech and barter should be, another way out, not the only way or just a small bonus. This also made my character level much slower than my other characters since he couldnt get questlines done as quick, or even at all. Guns having high Str requirements: I know we have weapon handling, but 8 strength to weild a sniper rifle?! 7 To weild a pistol?! This should be for machine guns and stuff, not stuff like the 12.7mm pistol. I like the mechanic, but the logic is kinda busted in my eyes. Final bosses: Legate was hard, killing me quickly(great fight because of it), until one time i just killed him in 5s without alerting his guards and just finished the game. I was shocked tbh. I personally struggled finding sidequests, This can be counted as my fault, but I dont think the game gave me enough of a hint as to where they may be. Thats it for negatives really, I plan to do a charisma cowboy and Intelligence Pacifist next so maybe my mind will change. Anyways, you guys know the positives more than likely, great combat amazing dialogue ect. I really love this game and will do at least 5 more playthroughs, tips with finding quests and that kinda stuff would be greatly appreciated. Stay safe guys! [link] [comments] | ||

Posted: 22 Mar 2020 06:04 AM PDT (Solved) I'm doing a hardcore run, 100% sided with the NCR, but I put off Render Unto Caesar to do We all go together at Searchlight, coincidentally, I got & failed Beware the Wrath of Caesar at the same time that I gave Astor the irradiated tags, vilifing me with the Legion. I used a disguise & the mark of Caesar to get to Fortification Hill. But, when I go to caesar, it just zooms in on him, then out. Anyone know how to fix this because I can't do any Legion quest & console commands didn't fix it. [link] [comments] | ||

But I just killed house for the NCR I go to the casino and fire Raul planning to recruit Arcade, I have to fire rex for his option to load so I do, and he keeps repeating the dialogue when you already have a companion. So that's my first problem. And then I heard fighting and Veronica and arcade pulled their weapons and headed to where rex and Boone were fighting, I thought they'd know each other out cause I'm not on hardcore but rex actually KILLED Boone then Veronica just finished rex off, Boone had a note I've never seen on him, titled for Carla. What's going on? I've loaded back a save and will comment if this happens again. Edit: Rex also has Lupas brain so could that have an effect? Edit: Using the companion dismissal terminal fixed arcades problem and right now Boone's only safe cause he's stuck inside the oven [link] [comments] | ||
