Posted: 25 Nov 2019 07:38 PM PST So I started up a new game of fallout 4 and instead of answering the door for the vault Tech guy and playing the game I sat there for like 20 minute watching the tv. It's crazy the reporter talks about what's happening in the fallout world it actually drops some really good lore. I never knew the new reports just kept going and going. Go make a new game and listen to It lol it's rather enjoyable. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 25 Nov 2019 10:51 PM PST It has only just occurred to me that Virgil's Serum missed a huge opportunity. As the quest goes you basically get two options, give Virgil the cure or don't (either because you failed or because you're being an asshole for some reason). But what if you gave the serum to strong? There's now a whole other path to take regarding him and who he is. Maybe he remembers being kidnapped by the Institute and being turned into a super mutant and this haunts him, maybe you now have another romancable character. So much that could have been done with that than just "make Virgil mad or don't" [link] [comments] |
Where’s the trenches filled with mutants? Posted: 25 Nov 2019 01:04 PM PST where's the mutants and the hole in the monument? I was on my way to the mall when I noticed something strange [link] [comments] |
15 Best Dead Money Related Mods (My Dead Opinion)- Fallout DLC Mods no.1 Posted: 26 Nov 2019 03:25 AM PST This is a mod list of all my favourite mods related to the Dead Money DLC. So often we find great mod list videos on YouTube, but I have never found one that only dealt with mods the require or improve the DLCs. I have made this list for all those who want to give more focus to the modding of the DLCs and hopefully improve your experience in game. I have downloaded and used all these mods and I have selected the best 15. I hope you all find this list useful and if you enjoy any of these mods, remember to endorse the authors. Share any other Dead Money related mods I may have missed. If you think these mods deserve a better description than the one I gave it, post your own review and description in the comments. (Not all mods may work for everybody and remember to read the comments on the mod page if you have a problem. T&Cs and Standard Rates do not apply.) 1.Cloud Grenades by Hopper31: https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/65331 Remember the devastating effects of The Cloud? Do you hope to use its power just like Elder Elijah? Well all you have to do is craft this potent weapon with one of the ingredients being Cloud Residue found in the Sierra Madre. This is a fun weapon mod that will forever say in my Load Order and to my knowledge it is Lore Friendly.
So the vanilla face of the Elijah NPC does not look like the face we first saw on the screen in the Villa. This mod fixes this and I believe that this is more of a Lore fix than anything. This will always stay in my Load Order.
The companions from the Dead Money DLC were in my opinion, well written and felt almost like real human beings. It was disappointing when you saved them (if you saved them), but realised that after you completed the DLC that they were gone forever. This mod brings back Christine (if she survived) into the Sierra Madre Casino as stated in her ending slide. She is voiced using in game lines, but requires a mod that allows the player to return to the Sierra Madre. This mod is lore friendly and has a special spot in my Load Order. Roam the wastes with our favourite Circle of Steel knight.
Dean Domino. A singer, a thief and a fan favourite. It is said that he that he headed to New Vegas (if he survived), but we never see him again. This mod add our Old School Ghoul to Freeside and he needs your help to get into the Glorious Strip. This one stays in my Load Order. This mod adds a bit more class to your travels in the waste.
This mod adds either Dog, God, or the merge of the two in different locations in the wasteland. Whatever choice you chose, he will be in a different location. There is just too much to say about this well written character to do him justice. A well done mod that will stay in my Load Order. Who did you choose; Dog, God or the Amnesiac Mutant?
The Sierra Madre is a place of dangerous fable. The horrors of Ghosts, Holograms and Blood Clouds will make any person distressed. Why not try to relax in this well built safehouse with a history and warm bed. A Home inside a Horror if you will. Just try it for yourself, no rent included! In my head this is canon and in my Load Order it is to stay.
This is a retexture of the Holorifle using assets from the Weapons Retexture Project, so that mod is required. Just read the comments on the mod page if it is not working. It is about time this unique weapon got a bit of love of the texture kind.
Now this is a must have mod. It was very disappointing when you complete the Dead Money DLC, but you are unable to return to the Sierra Madre. To this day I still do not know why you will not be able to return. What if you missed something important or the view of beautiful Sierra Madre. Well this mod does just that. Not only does this allow for to return to the Sierra Madre, but this mod also has an option to allow for the Ghost People to respawn. This mod is very lore friendly and will stay in my Load Order for generations to come.
Do you remember how unique the hazmat suits worn by the Ghost People were? Although we did get this in the Old world Blues DLC, we only got one variant. This adds both variants in order to for fill your Ghost People cosplay and to strike fear into the hearts of your enemies. Be a Ghost and Haunt others like they will forever haunt you!
This is a cheat mod. I know, I know, how dishonourable of me to cheat...BUT MAYBE YOU SHOULD TRY DEAD MONEY ON HARDCORE MODE! IT IS NOT EASY WHEN YOU ARE SLOW AND YOUR HEAD KEEPS GOING BOOM! This is mainly for casual players and players who role play as an immortal being, or something...(I am sorry for cheating, please forgive me!)
Did you think that the vending machines in the Villa were lacking content? Well now thanks to Yukichigai for allows us to get more return options from these masters of machines. If it was made by Yukichigai, it stays in my Load Order.
This bug fix allows you to witness the Glory of the Sierra Madre when you begin the Gala Event. This stays in my Load Order.
This mod improves the texture and resolution of the Assassin Suit from Dead Money. This is a fine amour which as saved the lives of many players. Now, we just need a retexture of the rest of the Dead Money armours. It deserves to stay in my Load Order.
Another great mod by Yukichigai. This mod adds a bit of the cut content we love from Fallout New Vegas. Now surprise yourself with the vending machines. this mod also allows you to collect all 33 Sierra Madre cards easier. The more cut content restored the happy I get. This stays in my Load Order.
There are many retexture or HD texture mods out there, but very few actually retexture DLC locations. Try out this mod if you want to improve the quality of the Sierra Madre and return it to is former Glory! [link] [comments] |
What do you think is the canon F4 ending Posted: 25 Nov 2019 03:23 PM PST I think the Minutemen but hope to god it's the brotherhood [link] [comments] |
The (lack of?) Logic behind the Location of Vault 88. Posted: 25 Nov 2019 05:06 PM PST I know the Vault-Tec Workshop DLC released over 3 years ago, but there is one thing that has greatly bothered me about where Vault 88 is located: Deep inside of a Raider Outpost (Quincy Quarries). Now of course getting here is no problem for the Soul Survivor, but the problem lies in the rest of the settlers after the Vault begins welcoming new faces. How on Destroyed-Earth do these settlers, some of whom have probably have never held a weapon in thier life, ever get past these weekly-respawning, mild terrors of the commonwealth and safely into the Vault? John Hamm should be the lone wanderer, the vault dweller, and they should make a movie. Posted: 26 Nov 2019 01:29 AM PST That is all. I hope this sub doesn't have some short post rule. [link] [comments] |
In Fallout 4, Where Do You Usually Like To Make Your Main Player Settlement/Home? Posted: 25 Nov 2019 02:26 PM PST At the start of a playthrough I'm a pretty boring person and usually just stay in Sanctuary for it's aesthetics and ties to the Minutemen, but later go off to create my custom Vault 88 as a more official 'city' with shops and everything I need. But given how much variety you have, I was wondering where everyone else lived? A few of my friends say that they liked living in Greygarden because of its Overpass, and others liked settling in Hangman's Alley, The Castle and Spectacle Island. I've thought about the Mechanist's Lair a few times but the limited build area always puts me off, I like a big project. So how about you? Do you settle somewhere else entirely like Far Harbor? Do you stay close to where it all began and rebuild Sanctuary? Or are you a person who enjoys the finer things in life and downloads a stylish player home mod? Let me know, I'd love to hear it. Which is your favourite NPC that is already dead? [Spoilers] Posted: 25 Nov 2019 04:05 PM PST So, a lot of the stories told in fallout are through the aftermath/bodycount left behind from events that have already taken place. There's often some pretty cool NPCs we'll never interact with because of this, but through terminals/notes/other NPCs, we get to hear their story. One of my favourites is Curator Givens at the Boston Library in FO4; a dude who has devoted his life to a futile attempt at preserving knowledge despite a daily barrage of super mutant attacks. There's not a million threads to his backstory, but either way, it's always been one of my favourite little side stories. Who are some of your favourite NPCs that are dead by the time we find them? [link] [comments] |
Posted: 25 Nov 2019 10:05 AM PST This has been bugging me for awhile. If the SS is the new Director, why would they realistically still want to visit the Commonwealth? I understand doing missions for the Institute, but why would they want to roam around? Anyone who can provide some good reasons, I would appreciate it. [link] [comments] |

Anyone else feels that Deathclaws in 4 look less terrifying than their FO3/NV counterpart? Posted: 25 Nov 2019 04:24 PM PST Dunno what it is but they looked better when they had a lean physique. [link] [comments] |
this is just a shoutout post for christine.. My Wife. My Love. I love her so much Posted: 25 Nov 2019 10:46 PM PST i've seen a fair share of negative opinions towards dead money and that seems kinda unfair seeing as we get such a cute companion. i wish i could just have her travel in the mohave with me all the time [link] [comments] |

Posted: 25 Nov 2019 10:14 PM PST Nothing ever dies in this DLC, and unlike Energy weapons, which are naturally better against robots(energy ammo is much more common too), and unarmed/melee, which needs no ammo, playing this DLC with guns feels really, really stupid. I mean, you could spend a year of reseting the merchants so you get enough pulse slugs, but why would you do that when you can melt everything with lasers, or pummel through everything with melee weapons? OWB feels like the game`s way of punishing you for picking guns at the start. Though you could always put some point into melee on the side, so you can kill things with the protonic axe or whatever, but a gun specialist build? No way. [link] [comments] |

What is the green bar right below the red bar on the HUD in Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel PS2? Posted: 25 Nov 2019 07:06 PM PST Been playing BOS for awhile now but I cannot figure out what the green bar indicates. It is located right below the health bar, and it seems to rise and fall at random without having an effect on anything I've noticed. I don't have the original game book that came in the case and I can't find the answer online anywhere so I'm kinda lost as to what that green bar could indicate. If anyone knows what the green bar that is directly under the red bar indicates, I would be very thankful! P.S. If you don't like Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel, please keep your opinions to yourself as that is not what I've come here for. I am aware many people in this community don't like the game. If you just came to comment your dislike, I really don't need it. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 26 Nov 2019 02:44 AM PST I was playing fallout new Vegas, was finishing up with the white gloves or whatever there called- and opened my menu to equip a new weapon. Much to my dismay, my pip-boy was the pimp-boy, and I haven't even gone to deal with Mike or that faction yet. [link] [comments] |
Fallout 76 Rose Synth Design (Redraw) Posted: 25 Nov 2019 06:50 PM PST A while ago I drew Rose if she had a synth model, figured I'd recreate it as my style has changed vastly since the last version. Any way to get another CR-74L? Posted: 25 Nov 2019 07:40 PM PST Playing fallout 4, bought the CR-74L creation club pack, long story short I no longer have the gun and want another way to get another one. (No mods/PS4) [link] [comments] |
If given time, how powerful could the Nuka World raiders become? Posted: 25 Nov 2019 03:43 PM PST So for starters, I would be posting this in /r/falloutlore but I have no idea if it would be taken down because I've had similar posts taken down there for rule violations. Onward to the question though. So what we already know about Nuka World is that they are outside of the commonwealth, have the ability to put up a good fight against the gunners, are made up of three different gangs, and can match the BOS in battlefield talent just not discipline. Given these factors, and the entire commonwealth, how powerful can they get, or would they just collapse in on themselves? So FO4 begins 4 years before FONV. In 4 years time, how far would they have expanded, how strong would they get, or would they have scattered and collapsed by then? [link] [comments] |
