Top 5 reasons why Lucky is better than Maria Posted: 16 Feb 2020 06:10 AM PST Number 1: Looks It's engraved semi-gold, matte-black appearence makes it look way better than the weird semi-blued semi-silver fugly coloration of Maria. Number 2: Damage Output A fully-upgraded Maria does 36 DMG at 100 guns stat, but Lucky does 56 when fully upgraded and with guns at 100, making it have a lot of DMG output. Its DPS even tops Maria, meaning more bang-for-your-buck, quite literally. Number 3: Ammo 9mm is honestly so-common, its dirt-cheap, but it lacks the true stopping-power of 357, making it, therefor, inferior. I even have the numbers to back it up. The 9MM Round +P is a rare variant of the common 9mm round, contatining these stats: x1.1 -2 x1.2 x1 x1.1 is Damage, -2 is Damage Threshold (armor), x1.2 is Condition, and x1 is accuracy. Here are the stats for a 357 JFP, a hand-made round. x1.25 -3 x1 x0.8 Superior damage, DT, condition, and accuracy. Number 4: Clip Size "B-b-but Crossroadslmao, Maria wins in clip size!" Size does not matter. Maria's large clip-size means it degrades faster, meaning less time you actually get to use the fucking thing. Plus, considering the good stopping-power of Lucky, you need less ammo because theres a solid chance it'll take a handful of shots. Number 5: Duration Lucky, considering its a 357, has a much higher duration stat than any 9mm gun. The 9MM, even using the best possible round, only can squeeze in 995 shots, or 77 reloads before it breaks. Lucky can go up to 1120, equivalent to 187 reloads using normal rounds, and even 1495, or 250 reloads before breaking. Ending Statement: lol maria gay. EDIT: I just realized, that Lucky and That Gun share the second spot for the highest critical-chance pistol. beat that [link] [comments]

I love the "historical" aspect of New Vegas Posted: 15 Feb 2020 11:45 AM PST It's hard to describe exactly, and perhaps someone else can explain this better, but it always seems like New Vegas is not just a game, but an epic novel of sorts. This is especially apparent in DLC ending slides the narrator and even the text itself is made to sound romantic and epic, fantastical and biblical. The journey of the Courier is like Gilgamesh almost. The Courier and other characters and various companions are spoken of as almost like people in the bible or other religious ancient texts on humanity. I especially noticed this in Dead Money and Lonesome Road. That's what makes New Vegas so enticing, it's almost like book or epic novel. Fallout 4 goes for more of a cinematic experience, which is good depending on your tastes, though overwhelmingly that's what most other games do as well. [link] [comments]
Posted: 16 Feb 2020 07:51 AM PST A lot of the time when fast traveling in the OWB dlc my game will crash. I looked up a way to bypass this and it said to travel to the sink balcony and then fast travel to where you want to go, but guess what, it doesn't work. My game still crashes no matter what I try. This might be my one and only time playing the OWB dlc on pc because this crashing bs is really annoying. [link] [comments]

Posted: 16 Feb 2020 03:37 AM PST So it is possible that, In certain state, Vulpes is completely bald? [link] [comments]
Posted: 15 Feb 2020 10:30 PM PST When talking to Caesar about Lanius he reveals that before Lanius' tribe was in the legion Lanius would attack entire legion patrols by himself and killed about a dozen of his own after they surrendered to the legion. Although this is pretty impressive, according to Lucius, Lanius became a legionary at 12 so the oldest Lanius could've been when he did all that when is fucking 11. [link] [comments]
What do you believe the Courier was like? Posted: 15 Feb 2020 11:55 PM PST Obviously in these open RPGs the devs intend to leave things as open as possible to allow for nearly any character. It never stops me from theorycrafting what the Courier was like though. Especially with the few bits of back story that is available in game. That said, what are your theories on what the Courier was like? No right or wrong answers, of course. Was he a basic caravan member? Was he technologically inclined? Was he neutral? Good? Evil? Was he not a man at all but a woman, despite the game intro displaying a man like silhouette? [link] [comments]

Crocker and Moore Have Completely Vanished Posted: 15 Feb 2020 10:54 PM PST I had just finished the King's Gambit quest and returned to Crocker for compensation. He gave me caps, a new quest called For the Republic, Part 2 and told me to report to Moore at Hoover Dam for more details. After making my way to Hoover Dam, I discover that Moore had stopped existing. She is nowhere to be found. I looked everywhere. So, naturally, I went back to the NCR Embassy on The Strip to talk to Crocker again. I figured that I probably missed some detail in the dialogue about her whereabouts. Upon entering the Embassy, I notice Crocker isn't at his desk where he normally is. Maybe he's sleeping? It was 9 PM in-game so I figured there was a decent chance that that was the case. I make my way over to the barracks, but before I can get there I'm intercepted by an NCR Trooper MP who tells me I never should have fucked with the NCR, a faction that currently "idolizes" me. He immediately attacks me and Veronica shoots him down before I can even process what is happening. After sitting there confused for a good minute, I walk out into the reception area of the Embassy where apparently no one was aware of the seven gunshots that just rang through the building. Not a single other person attacked me or expressed any negative dialogue. To top it all off, after I finally get to the barracks, I discover that Crocker has also disbanded his position at NCR and vanished into the void. It was at this point that I finally gave up and exited the game. I was really enjoying New Vegas up to this point, save for a couple crashes, but this most recent series of bugs has me so frustrated that I don't even want to think about this game. Has anyone else experienced these bugs? What do I do to fix it? [link] [comments] |
