    Drop your FNV Playlists :)

    Posted: 28 Feb 2020 10:26 PM PST

So if we've all played New Vegas. And I bet a lot of us have with mods. And I bet many of us heard Johnny Guitar a few too many times, and so used mods to make a custom radio station. So what songs were on it, and why? Was it all lore-friendly?

Here's mine! Personally it was all as lore-friendly as I could justify. I am a stickler for that.

Dream A Little Dream Of Me - Ella Fitzgerald & Loius Armstrong What a phenomenal song.

More - Bobby Darin This one I found after I played New Vegas, and found to fit well with the theme. It's a great song.

When The Man Comes Around - Johnny Cash The first of quite a few Cash songs on my personal playlist. This one struck me as particularly pleasant, and it's a ton of fun to hear when... killing people.

The Long And Winding Road - The Beatles Just a fan of this song, and I thought it was okay lore-wise. Plus, um, there are roads in NV. Probably not gonna give an explanation for every song. It's late and I've been sampling my homemade mead.

Moon River - Audrey Hepburn She was the most beautiful woman ever. Fight me.

I Heard The Bluebirds Sing - The Browns First heard this one at college bonfires. I went to a weird college. Always meant to learn this on guitar and sing it with a pretty girl.

Beyond The Sea - Bobby Darin We all know this one.

Strangers In The Night - Frank Sinatra Sinatra will not be a stranger in the night to this playlist.

My Way - Frank Sinatra I swear, this is an amazing song for a glorious killing-spree. Not bad in the game either.

In The Mood - Glenn Miller I was honestly surprised when I discovered Fallout games feature no Glenn Miller. Seemed like a crime.

Danke Shoen - Wayne Newton Mr. New Vegas himself... I guess he smoked a lot between this and New Vegas?

Just Like Heaven - Postmodern Jukebox I admit this is kinda bad, but I loved the original and was too attached to lore-friendliness...

Ring Of Fire - Johnny Cash Oh look more Johnny Cash...

Come Fly With Me - Frank Sinatra And look more Sinatra! Hey, this one is kinda in the game anyway... and I almost used the Seth McFarlane Version.

La Vie En Rose - Edith Piaf This may be my favorite song of all time.

A Quoi Ca Sert L'amour - Edith Piaf I recall this one from some cartoon on my sister's iPod Video.

The Way You Look Tonight - James Darren Not only do I adore the James Darren version, but Rene and Michael were both in FNV... and Rene died recently.

Play With Fire - The Rolling Stones Also good for an (in game) killing spree.

Blowin' In The Win - Bob Dylan I actually think this song is... just okay.

It's Only A Paper Moon - Ella Fitzgerald She's just the best. Also... Nog's song.

As Time Goes By - Dooley Wilson Okay, Casablanca is my favorite movie. Well, top two. That and Ghostbusters.

Our Town - Iris Dement Heard this in some college class one time and never forgot it for some reason. I always think of Cass.

God's Gonna Cut You Down - Johnny Cash The Rambler, the Gambler...

Solitary Man - Johnny Cash I like Johnny Cash but not enough to know any obscure songs of his.

L-O-V-E - Nat King Cole I like the multilingual version. The real one is kinda bland.

Ain't No Grave - Johnny Cash This song is suuuper appropriate for FNV. C'mon. Ain't no grave can hold the murderous cannibal I played as down.

In Hell I'll Be In Good Company - The Dead South Probably the most obscure thing I have on here, and a damned good song. Would recommend.

You're Nobody 'Til Somebody Loves You - James Darren This one was from the Odo and Kira episode :/

Blue Skies - Brent Spiner I like Star Trek. And damn, his voice.

Moonlight Serenade - Glenn Miller Still weird that Fallout has never had Glenn Miller.

That's all. I was actually gonna work on this for a day or two, but hey the power of booze made me get it done in a half-hour. Enjoy and please do share your own lists! If there are any typos, please forgive me-- I've been drinking. Also, mods please forgive me for drinking and posting.

What’s the “canonical” ending of new Vegas and it’s dlcs

    Posted: 28 Feb 2020 09:23 PM PST

I understand it's a fallout game with no canonical ending and it can be whqtever but in your opinion what do you consider is the canonical ending of new Vegas based on how the game is set up to me personally I think it's the yes man ending as the game automatically leans you towards it but if you think it's something else I'd love to hear

    The Pimp-Boy 3 Billion

    Posted: 28 Feb 2020 06:27 PM PST

This whole time I always thought the pimp boy was just a mod or something, I didn't realize it was actually obtainable in game because I had never completed that quest in that way. I've been playing this game for 10 years and it still manages to surprise me in the most wonderful ways. Shouts out to my favorite game of all time. :o)

would the courier have a very visible gunshot wound?

    Posted: 28 Feb 2020 11:14 PM PST

come to think of it if its only a 9mm hitting the side of the skull, it would probably rip skin but not create a full on gunshot mark. with some suturing i would assume it would look fairly normal considering the circumstances. but im not expert so id like to hear what yall think

Why the Caesar is obsessed to kill the Courier?

    Posted: 28 Feb 2020 09:14 PM PST

Kind hearted guy, like me, always kill Vulpes Inculta and those Legion scums after realise what happen to those Nipton residents, and get vilified after rescuing some power gangers in a slave camp.

And why does the Caesar insist to kill me with those "assassin" while I can just overkill a squad of them with my companions.
