I thought it would be in Concord because that's the closest major area, or Boston, but I cant seem to find it anywhere.

Is there any information in the lore about how robobrains are programmed?

    Posted: 02 Feb 2020 05:33 AM PST

These robobrain units always fascinated me with the notion that human brain tissue could be basically programmed to create an A.I. Has anyone ever come across bits of lore where they talk about this in more depth? What happens to the human consciousness that existed before, or does it remain in some capacity? Are the memories suppressed?

Do we know which compan(y/ies) developed the bombs used in the Great War?

    Posted: 02 Feb 2020 01:03 PM PST

Specifically in the US, but if international info exists, that'd be great too. I've checked the usual suspects (Vault-Tec, Future-Tec, West Tek) on the wiki as well as the Pre-War Companies list generally, but can't find anything. Or maybe it was strictly government research? For my specific curiosity, is it possible that Vault-Tec was involved with the development (ignoring theories about their involvement with the actual launch)? Is there any information at all?

Why are the scorched only present in Appalachia?

    Posted: 02 Feb 2020 04:38 PM PST

I thought it may be because they were all wiped out, but did they ever spread to other regions? And what about scorchbeasts? Why didnt they ever fly anywhere else?

Have historical punishments made a comeback in the fallout world?

    Posted: 02 Feb 2020 09:44 PM PST

I know that in game that if you break a law you get shot, but is everything in the Fallout world punishes with death?

In the past, and in some modern countries, thieves would have a finger or hand lopped off whilst those who committed crimes that didn't warrant a gruesome death could wind up in a pillory.

Have similar punishments made their way back into the world of Fallout? Or is the game correct and everything is a death sentence?

Brotherhood of steel uniforms, Pre war or post war?

    Posted: 02 Feb 2020 09:53 AM PST

Apart from power amour and the pre war flight helmets from fallout 4, is there anything else confirmed to have belonged to the prewar military?
