Has anyone ever come across bits of lore where they talk about this in more depth? What happens to the human consciousness that existed before, or does it remain in some capacity? I've checked the usual suspects (Vault-Tec, Future-Tec, West Tek) on the wiki as well as the Pre-War Companies list generally, but can't find anything. Or maybe it was strictly government research? For my specific curiosity, is it possible that Vault-Tec was involved with the development (ignoring theories about their involvement with the actual launch)? Is there any information at all? Posted: 02 Feb 2020 09:44 PM PST I know that in game that if you break a law you get shot, but is everything in the Fallout world punishes with death? In the past, and in some modern countries, thieves would have a finger or hand lopped off whilst those who committed crimes that didn't warrant a gruesome death could wind up in a pillory. Have similar punishments made their way back into the world of Fallout? Or is the game correct and everything is a death sentence? [link] [comments] |
