Easy money making tip in Fallout 4

    Posted: 20 Nov 2019 05:59 AM PST

As I began managing over a dozen settlements, the crops I yield from them can be sold in large quantities to most vendors. Like, I make 200-400 caps per trip. I'm sure some of you figured this out, but just passing it along.

500hrs into my 2nd character, just now found out the Science! Center exists.

    Posted: 20 Nov 2019 11:32 AM PST

I think I have 700hrs total across both characters; never knew this place existed. And it's in Diamond City for crying out loud lmao. It amazes me how no matter how much you play Bethesda/Obsidian games, you'll always find something new.

I made my own version of Nuka Cola!

    Posted: 20 Nov 2019 05:40 PM PST

I bought a Mountain Dew Voltage earlier because I was thirsty, but I remembered I had Pepsi at home. So, I was looking at them together, and then it hit me: Nuka Cola. They say Nuka Cola is a fruity cola, so what would be the harm in mixing them? I mixed them half and half and it's perfect, at least to me! A bit sweet, but Nuka Cola is supposed to be a sugar rush.

Old World Blues is pretty difficult

    Posted: 20 Nov 2019 10:29 PM PST

When I started OWB they recommended you be at least 15. I thought okay this shouldnt be a problem as im almost level 30. I'm going through and I think level 15? How? Level 15 would be like SCRAPING by. those y-17 harness chicks are a pain in the frickin ass bro. They can take a serious beating, wish that armor was wearable cause holy FACK. It's definitely a challenge, and the scarcity of stimpaks is definitely very worrying. A lot of times nukes and sunsets just aint enough for ya boy, need something a little stronger.

    Appreciation of Fallout 4

    Posted: 21 Nov 2019 12:40 AM PST

Some things in Fallout 4 I really appreciate is the combination of the optional Survival difficulty with the whole environment feeling deadly knowing one wrong turn is dangerous. Hell, travelling the roads you've been is dangerous. I truly enjoy taking my time to build up my settlement home bases as well. Unable to fast travel via map, and saving is impossible without a bed. And to top it all off, a choice of groups to back as you redecide basically the government of the commonwealth's future and how it will be rebuilt. I've spent many hours on this game and can't get enough of it.

(TL;DR): I reallllllly like fallout 4. I'd like to know what others are building for their characters they thought were really fun. I personally enjoy the wackiness of the luck tree, and V.A.T.S. because I suck at aiming lmao

Given that the Commonwealth Wasteland is prone to radioactive storms from the fallout, should all settlers wear vault suits to counteract the danger?

What are some songs from today that'd make a good Fallout soundtrack/give off good Fallout vibes?

    Posted: 20 Nov 2019 10:35 PM PST

Don't get me wrong; everything Inon Zur does for the Fallout universe is nothing short of extraordinary, and his work on FO4 is amazing. But I recently found out that in the first (or second?) Fallout there were nods to Tool and Maynard James Keenan, and one of the early 00s' BOS spinoff games featured a couple of tunes from Killswitch Engage. Now, I love hard rock, and the fact that those two groups are tied to the Fallout universe makes me wonder what are some other music acts that'd fit in the Fallout world. Any suggestions?

    Any mods to help performance?

    Posted: 21 Nov 2019 01:21 AM PST

I play on an i5 8gb laptop but it has only the standard Intel graphics card and is thus kinda slow and laggy sometimes. Any good mods to help with this?

[NV: OWB] what was the point of the concentration camp

    Posted: 20 Nov 2019 09:02 PM PST

borous is running a torture center full of imprisoned chinese in the middle of the big empty. apart from elijah quietly sniping these poor men from a nearby observation tower, this is never brought up by any other characters as a cause for concern.

what was the point? sure, the thing with his dog was sad, but being a war criminal who's spent the last several centuries running a death camp seems like it should be a bigger deal plot-wise than being mean to your dog.

Will there ever be a fallout game in Canada?

    Posted: 20 Nov 2019 09:24 AM PST

I think that a Fallout game could take place in Canada. Canada would be in a nuclear winter.I would want it to have a small amount of NCR. A NCR soldier would probably say "kinda of wish I was back in the Mojave". It would also have a hypothermia mechanic. There could be saunas around the map and you could add layers. Wearing something metal would make you more cold. For example power armor would be more cold but you could get a heating upgrade. I would like to hear your thoughts and idea's.

Edit: people have been giving great ideas and opinions. I would like to thank you all for them.

Starting a new game due to glitches that made me unable to complete the main storyline. Help me out!

    Posted: 20 Nov 2019 09:43 PM PST

I'm planning to side with the Institute for the first time. I don't plan to do any side quests for now, just a straight shot to complete the main story. In order to get an advantage, where or what should I do to prepare? Any unique armors or weapons I should grab? Should I even bother to set up a base? Give me some tips! Thanks y'all.

    Fallout 4 settlement question?

    Posted: 20 Nov 2019 11:26 PM PST

I've googled and found so many conflicting answers to this that I'm not sure what to do. I'm playing on X1 with no mods. I was building a huge farm at Abernathys farm and all the sudden all my settlers stop working and huddle into a huge group. I couldn't reassign them to tasks. So I left to the other side of the map and chilled there for a few in game days and came back and it was the same? Any fix for this bug?

    Discrimination Against The Outcasts

At what point does Preston get angry in Nuka World?

    Posted: 20 Nov 2019 10:30 AM PST

I know he'll get angry at you for working with the raider gangs in Nuka World, but when exactly does this happen? I've heard it only happens when you've raided the Commonwealth, is that true? I've been thinking of proceeding all the way up through Nuka World until that point, then doing Open Season. Is that possible?
