    Wouldn’t a X ray detect a synth?

The synth component is physical thing, and the X-rays in Cades office proves that's the brotherhood is capable of x ray machines, and given that we can build fusion generators, an x ray machine doesn't seem that far of a stretch.

So what do the enclave think of Mr.House?

    Posted: 22 Jul 2021 10:38 PM PDT

So I was thinking about the different factions of fallout and specifically the enclave. Now it's obvious the enclave hate any large factions, and for that matter really any faction. However House isn't really a faction rather just a person who controls the strip. I'm just curious if they would see him as the same person he was before the war or would they think of him as just another threat?

Why don't the Tops seem to react to the trouble you've caused there?

Meanwhile, some random Freesider caught on the gossip that some bigshot from The Strip (almost) got killed.

In regards to the Sole Survivor(Spoiler)

    Posted: 22 Jul 2021 06:36 PM PDT

Does any faction excluding the institute and minutement(because he tells them technically) know that Nate is pre war and a veteran ?

Hey all I know I'm posting a lot but I always thought about this. I should say that while Nora is playable, I am referring to Nate in this one(because trailers and what not) I am also asking this because another question always came to mind which I will ask after my first.

1.When joining factions, obviously the members of say the institute know he is ore war, but what about say the brotherhood, and railroad ?

Like I find it very odd that if he joins the brotherhood and say talks to Maxon he never tells maxon

"I know what war is, I've seen it" or something like that nor does he tell it to people like paladin Danse

I'm not saying he go around and broadcast it, but like I would have thought there would have been a bit more in regards to dialogue of this subject.

Sorry if this question seems dumb I'm rambling XD

    How scaled down are vaults?

    Posted: 22 Jul 2021 11:47 AM PDT

How much are vaults scaled down in terms of population and size? For example, Vault 101's experiment was to keep the vault permanently locked shut, and not interact with the outside world, but the population we see in the vault, and the number of rooms in the vault, make it look like a small Midwestern town. What would be the canonical population and size of these vaults?

Could hard rock/psychedelic or an early form of heavy metal music exist in the Fallout universe, either as pre-war or as post-war music?

    Posted: 22 Jul 2021 12:20 PM PDT

I got to thinking out this rather peculiar idea, could such music exist within the limits of the lore of the Fallout universe? Even considering the divergence from our timeline and the subsequent alternate cultural evolution of the Fallout world, given the fact that some sort of a hippie movement is confirmed to have existed before the war (the usage of the word hippie itself and some of those anti-war graffiti of pre-war origin, with the peace signs and all) I cannot but imagine other sub-cultures even with their own forms of "extreme" music, are more likely to have existed than not, even if they stayed completely underground.

Technology wise, it most certainly it would have been feasible to write and perform such music with pre-war tech (electric guitars have been around in our own timeline since the '30s and amplifiers with overdrive effects are around since the early '50s). So from that point, that is definitely possible.

Even if assuming there was no such pre-war current in popular music, not even as an underground, why wouldn't it have evolved then later in the post-apocalyptic world, at least after the NCR got it's firm grip on rebuilding California? Is it so far fetched to have some Californian kids with access to either pre-war, or even post-war made instruments come up with the idea to vent all their feelings of rage and alienation with the world as a form of "extreme" music, not unlike something out of the early days of heavy metal (talking about similar sounds to Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Iron Butterfly or Steppenwolf). It would quite fit the tone and even the setting, aesthetically, if I am to be honest.

I also know of that Tool album cover easter egg that was present in FO1 and FO2 as a poster on some walls, but I honestly wouldn't consider it anything more than that, an easter egg.

How many members of the Mojave Brotherhood of Steel are left?

    Posted: 22 Jul 2021 03:51 PM PDT

Most of the chapter was wiped out at Helios One by the NCR years ago and there is a lot of concern about the chapter dying out. But is there any indication of how many members are left at the start of FNV?

What genres of radio station would be lore friendly?

    Posted: 22 Jul 2021 11:28 PM PDT

Obviously not specific songs, but if Fallout 5 were to include more than literally 1 normal music radio station, how many genre based stations could there be while remaining lore friendly? Are there any specific music types that explicitly DONT exist?
