How did Benny and the Great Khans get the jump on Courier 6? Posted: 31 May 2021 06:46 PM PDT Isn't the Courier canonically a major badass? Depending on what faction you get, your Courier is worth at least a couple NCR rangers, Legion Centurians or BOS Paladins. Savior (or destroyer) of the Mojave, how did a couple normal dudes manage to knock him or her out? Sure, it can be argued that the Courier was still building their skills, or that the Great Khans were some fucking tough guys. But you can't tell me that some 'normal' courier can turn into a force-of-nature, who will ultimately upend the geopolitical landscape of the Mojave. [link] [comments] |
Do we have ghoul animals? Can they exist? Posted: 31 May 2021 06:48 AM PDT Has there been ghoul animals in the game or were they mentioned in the lore? [link] [comments] |
Could the Think Tank invent anything coherent? Posted: 31 May 2021 12:38 PM PDT I'm aware that the Think Tank are...not the most stable individuals. They were starting to go mad with power well before Mobius came along and fucked with their sense of time, space, history, memories and even their very identities, and then accidently destroyed some of their knowledge in the process. Add 200 years of isolation, bio gel degradation and (for Mobius at least) copious amounts of drugs and you have...whatever is left of the "brightest minds of the 21st century. Considering all the above: if the Courier, for example, gave them Remnant Power Armor and said: "Make this but better." Would they be able to make that (considering the facilities, space age alloys, Sierra Madre vending machines and robots they have), or would it be a Securitron Mk 6 situation but even worse since Doctor 0 made them before the Think Thank went insane and even then the fucking things didn't work properly (read: went berserk or worse) . How do supermutants know how to use hi-tech weapons? Posted: 01 Jun 2021 12:14 AM PDT I get that it doesn't take a genius to aim and pull a trigger (even inaccurately), but if supermutants were generally just normal people rendered insanely violent by the FEV exposure, how is it that they seem to have effective training and proficiency to use more complicated weapons like mini guns and tri-beam laser rifles? A unorthodox view on General Oliver. Posted: 31 May 2021 09:26 PM PDT I was hoping to hear a more positive view/take on general Oliver. [link] [comments] |
Does Biogel cause/exacerbate mental health problems? Posted: 01 Jun 2021 03:36 AM PDT I ask this because, while everyone know the Think Tank is nuts, Calvert from Point Lookout also seems to act similar. The Think Tank seems to have already been unstable when they were humans, but it seems like they got worse afterwards. [link] [comments] |
Are all mutated creatures a result of FEV? Posted: 31 May 2021 05:44 PM PDT Because radiation doesn't make creatures bigger and more aggressive. We know that the scientists at West Tek were experimenting on animals so is it possible they got loose and acted as a sort of invasive species? [link] [comments] |
