They also seem to have strange luck which makes them a magnet for quests. Luck seems to be a quantifiable natural force in the Fallout universe anyway. Seeing as the Chosen One also seemingly had innate combat and survival abilities as well as similar luck when it came to encountering Quests, is it possible that innate abilities as well as luck can be inherited by offspring? I know the BoS in Boston are shown to do some questionable things such as forcing crop workers to give them food.
