    Is there any lore-based explanation for why clocks in Three Marys were frozen at the same time as those on the east coast?

    According to the Fallout wiki page "Great War", section "Notes",

    In the Fallout: New Vegas add-on Honest Hearts, clocks found in the debris of Three Marys are also stopped at 9:47. This is despite the fact that Three Marys would have been on Mountain Standard Time or two hours behind the East Coast ...

    As that passage continues to say that "though Fallout: New Vegas borrows some textures and models from Fallout 3", there are obviously out-of-universe explanations for this.

    But that leads me to wonder if there is any in-universe explanation for it?

    Anybody have any thoughts?

    Edit 2: Many of you bring up excellent points that I hadn't thought of.

    Speaking non-speculatively, I particularly like /u/SableMalamute's very to-the-point yet accurate statement that there really is no definite explanation from a Watsonian perspective, and that even the specific times of the start of the Great War as stated in-game are at times contradictory, though the latter point can possibly be explained away through speculatory means.

    Regarding a purely speculative standpoint, I also really like /u/Bottled_Fire's excellent comment about the fact that the White Legs are invasive scavengers and may have taken it from other territories that happened to lie in the Eastern time zone.

    During the event of New Vegas and even before that the NCR is at war with the Brotherhood of Steel. The NCR-Brotherhood war is alluded too throughout New Vegas and is a responsible for many quest lines in the game. But as important as it is little is actually known about it, how exactly did it start?

    Any Information on "The Snows of Anchorage" song?

    I was reading the cut sanctuary hills terminal and the sole survivor makes mention of this song. Does it exist or is it just written for the note?

    Tried a Google search and simply got Lore videos but nobody seems to have asked this before. I was hoping it would be another song or satire of another.

    Anyone got any ideas?

    Why and how did the Courier leave their job as a courier?

    When talking to Old Ben, the Courier says that they used to be a courier before getting shot in the head.

    Doesn't that kind of jobs have contracts that need to be somehow officially terminated?

    Also why would they quit? Is it because being a merc pays more or is it just fear?

    How can there be two fort independence

    Alright I was wondering how can there be 2 fort independence and both are headquarters for a faction I mean the Outcasts and Minuteman are different but why are there two fort independence the castle in fallout 4 and fort independence in fallout 3

    What is the differances between gouls and super mutants?

    They are both made by radiation. Are gouls expsosed to rads to become like this l. Super mutants impacted directly with rads or the other way around?
