A question for someone getting into the lore

    Posted: 24 Apr 2021 04:04 PM PDT

Okay so I'm new to the whole idea of researching lore beyond just what is easy to grab in game, so I went online and I have a question about online sources, namely Fandom, the online wiki for video games and movies and etc. For example a question I had was does the NCR have a national anthem. Fandom stated yes and said it was the song "California dreamin" but looking at some Reddit questions from a few different sub Reddit's, they didn't have a clear response. So I'm stuck to wonder is that site an accurate source for further research?

What happened to the Enclave after 2442?

I know that in Fallout 2, the "Chosen One" destroys the oil rigs which is the Enclave's base, and they retreat to thr Capital Wasteland, but what happened before they arrived to the Capital Wasteland and How did they travel across the ruins of America.

Would it be possible for a Securitron to go rogue?

    Posted: 25 Apr 2021 03:51 AM PDT

The army of robots at Mr. House's disposal is basically his eyes and ears, they're programmed by a super genius to follow all of his orders but I wonder if would've been possible for one of them to stop following the script. Yes Man was reprogrammed by Benny after being damaged by a pulse grenade. Could this kind of shock or other (1C 3C R34 M 🙂) might trigger an alternate behavior? And most importantly without Mr. House acknowledge it? To some extent, Victor kind of behave like this, but I was thinking of a Securitron going rogue and evil, exposing the plans and secrets of Mr. House or round up people who can put his knolegde to use. Could be a really cool quest if House knew about such Securitron and task the Courier to find out what happened to the robot and maybe stop it from spelling out precious info.

Considering what happened to the Divide, are the Brotherhood of Steel correct in their beliefs about certain pre war tech being too dangerous to handle by other groups?

Although the West Coast BOS are tech hoarding fanatics I think I see some merit in them being cautious about the consequences of prewar tech falling into the wrong hands. Obviously the NCR didn't mean for the disaster to happen, but couldn't it have been prevented had the BOS studied the device and confiscated it before the NCR got it's hands on it or possibly warned the NCR about the dangers of it?

I do know that the BOS-NCR conflict started over the same exact reasons regarding pre war tech. While most of it was just the BOS trying to maintain it's monopoly on pre war tech, some of it seems justifiable given that humanity could easily cause another disaster again.

I'd say the NCR should consider itself lucky that they didn't cause something as catastrophic as a second nuclear apocalypse in post war America or globally. Or maybe accidentally unleashed some secret superweapons or bioweapons somewhere in the wasteland.

The possibilities are endless tbh, what if they awakened some old world terror like the calculator from Tactics (yes I know Tactics isn't canon) or creatures as or more dangerous than the tunnelers?

It would have been cool if the Mojave BOS had something to say about it in game. I think that would be a convincing reason for some of the other factions to let them remain granted they change their approach to these matters and stop acting like petty tech raiders.

    How destructive are mini nukes?

    Posted: 24 Apr 2021 06:39 PM PDT

We know they do a lot of damage and stuff but how much damage could they realistically do? Like if I say had a well placed mini nuke launched at the neck of the lucky 38 tower or launched one from a building in the middle of diamond city, would it destroy diamond city and or collapse the lucky 38?

How did the Brotherhood of Steel get to D.C.

    Posted: 24 Apr 2021 10:14 PM PDT

I always wondered how they got to the Capital Wasteland. Did they just walled there or did they come from the West Virginia Chapter?

What does Arizona look like under Cesars control?

    Posted: 25 Apr 2021 06:05 AM PDT

This is more speculation since we don't have too many details. Are we thinking it looks like Fortification Hill with massive tent cities, or an attempt at Roman architecture inside the ruins of Flagstaff.

Why did the bos change from robes to more of a militaristic gear clothing?

    Posted: 24 Apr 2021 01:21 PM PDT

I don't completely understand it cuz in fallout 76 they where military type stuff then in fallout 1 they where robes. Did they where military stuff then change to robes nd shit then fallout 4 maxon bring it back or is it just a retcon
