Why did the Vault 22 dwellers in Zion engage in cannibalism? Posted: 13 Jan 2021 01:06 PM PST It seemed weird to me that vault dwellers of all people would eat human flesh, especially considering that Zion is abundant with other food sources, like banana yucca and bighorners. [link] [comments] |
Radstorms - Terrifying or Annoying? Posted: 13 Jan 2021 03:36 AM PST So one of the more unique pheomena we saw in Fallout 4 (until 76, anyway) were the radstorms the Glowing Say sends into the Commonwealth every now and again. But one thing I have been wondering is how do the people of the Commonwealth see these storms? Is there any evidence either way for how they see the whole 'sky turns green, thunder crashes and radioactive lightning streaks from the sky' phenomena? Is it "Oh shit, radstorm!" or "Ah hell, it's radstorming again." ? I would say that I'm not sure I'm counting the 'NPCs don't stop going about their routine' as evidence, because that's rather easily just Bethesda not wanting to code in new routines just for while the weather's changed. But anything else I'd be happy to hear about. [link] [comments] |
How'd the Master get all the way from Mariposa to the demonstration Vault? Posted: 13 Jan 2021 05:49 PM PST Those 2 points are at the opposite ends of the FO1 map, how was he transported there? He couldn't have "walked" all the way there because.. just look at him! [link] [comments] |
Could Centaurs and other old FEV creatures come back? Posted: 13 Jan 2021 05:02 PM PST Literally the question, but more specifically could the centaurs from the past games, along with the original floaters make an appearance alongside the current mutant horde members? (I'm including super mutants, FEV hounds, and the newest floaters from 76) If so, what would anyone else actually want them back? [link] [comments] |
Posted: 13 Jan 2021 08:25 PM PST When doing the side quest for MacCready in Med Tec, there will be two feral ghouls locked in a room which got me thinking how long did they last in there, do feral ghouls need food to survive, do they function like any other living being eat, drink, etc? They for sure have a pack mentalitlity but I always wondered about the nature of feral ghouls and if they really do need food and water to survive? [link] [comments] |
How would the super mutants respond Posted: 13 Jan 2021 01:14 PM PST I've only played fallout 3 for like a collect 30 minutes but know a lot about the lore and I had this question.Say someone came up to the super mutants peacefully and they did not shoot them on site and the person asked for them to turn them into a super mutants at vault 87 (or 83 I don't remember the name). How would the super mutants react [link] [comments] |
What was the goal of the institute? Posted: 13 Jan 2021 10:39 AM PST I never really understood while playing fo4 why the institute was so focused on synths rather than rebuilding the wasteland. On this sub I've seen a ton of contradicting explanations. Is there really a definitive reason? [link] [comments] |
