I killed Tenpenny without ever seeing him Posted: 15 Jan 2021 01:32 PM PST I was walking around the outside of Tenpenny tower, and he just fell from his balcony right in front of me, hit the ground and died. I laughed for about 10 minutes. [link] [comments] |
Why did Fallout 1 - The Story WIP shutdown? Posted: 15 Jan 2021 05:46 AM PST For anyone who doesn't know, some modders attempted to recreate Fallout 1 using Fallout New Vegas's engine. They got a decent amount done and they released what they had finished. I know it says they reached a point where they could make no further progress on it but… what does that mean? What was the barrier to completing it? Did any new info ever come up? I also read that even though it said they were done it was still getting updates. Is that true? I hope it's not dead or that someone else can pick up where they left off. It seems like a really cool Idea especially for people who can't get into the older games otherwise. And does anyone know anything about the Fallout 2 3D remake mod project. Is that one still a thing or no? Edit: Answered by one of the devs [link] [comments] |
FALLOUT THE FRONTIER HAS FINALLY RELEASED ON STEAM Posted: 15 Jan 2021 11:48 AM PST that is all. Good job to the dev team! edit: Steam next week but available on nexus on 20:00 GMT January 15th [link] [comments] |
The Frontier is making Nexus Crash Posted: 15 Jan 2021 12:19 PM PST This is not a complaint it just makes me happy how many people want to download this mod, I truly love these games and the community. [link] [comments] |

Posted: 15 Jan 2021 03:22 PM PST (Spoilers for the Pitt DLC for Fallout 3 incoming) I'm not gonna talk about the Pitt's great atmosphere or the place it's set in because that's worthy of an entire different fanboy post in and of itself but what i am going to talk about is the decision you get to make at the end: Whether to kidnap a baby from it's loving parents and free the slaves and the proceed to give the baby to the slaves who will then proceed to do awful things to it in order to manage to find a way to extract the cure from her, taking god knows how long to do it or, keep the baby with it's parents who also happen to be the same people who can develop the cure for the Pitt faster and more efficiently but, at the same time, helping the slavers keep the slaves subjugated. This is such a great decision to make because no matter what you do, no decision will be 100 percent correct or good and that is what i love about this DLC. At the end of The Pitt, you're essentially picking between what you think would be the least asshole thing to do. Both decisions have their upsides and downsides, but neither are morally good decisions to make and that's just absolutely magnificent. The Pitt also proves, at least to me, that when they want to, Bethesda knows exactly what Fallout should be about [link] [comments] |
Posted: 16 Jan 2021 02:48 AM PST So Fallout New Vegas is out with the game pass, and it's the one fallout shooter that I havent played yet. I loved fallout 3, and I know people knocked fallout 4 but I honestly love that one too. The only thing preventing me from diving right in is because I feel like the whole time I play it im just gonna be thinking "Man, so this is what fallout was before bethesda demolished it." Do I sound crazy? [link] [comments] |
Deacon praying before you take H2-22. Posted: 16 Jan 2021 04:30 AM PST Has any one else seen Deacon sit and pray while you wait at the church for H2-22 to show up? I saw that for the first tine this morning and was shocked. I even got a crappy video of the animation to show my friends lol [link] [comments] |
Posted: 16 Jan 2021 04:21 AM PST Whenever a pop up alert comes in (email notifications and etc) my screen automatically switches to home screen on my PC. When I click back on the game to resume playing, everything is stuck in zoom mode where I can only see about 25% of the screen. Is there anyway to fix this instead of constantly quitting the game, and relaunching it? [link] [comments] |
Pre-War game set in Fallout universe? Posted: 15 Jan 2021 07:57 AM PST So I'm listening to some old music that you might find in the Fallout universe and I get to thinking. I love the time period and style in the world of Fallout and wish there was a game that took place before the bombs fell to explore this colorful world and see all the sights before the world is completely destroyed. I have no clue what the story or end goal would be, just wanted to see what anybody's thoughts on a game like this would be [link] [comments] |
Posted: 16 Jan 2021 02:18 AM PST So I've got a level 45 Lazer Gatling gun that is legendary and it shoots 2 bullets for the price of 1 with 25% faster fire rate at level 49 but it's durability goes down really quick, should I sell it and get a different legendary gun or should I keep it for boss fights like deathclaw, scorchbeast, scorched mothman etc. But if I do sell it does anyone know any good weapons that have op legendary stats so I could keep a lookout for them? The UN life expectancy is around 73 which means most players born after 2000 will be alive in 2077 Posted: 15 Jan 2021 12:55 PM PST It'll be like Back to the Future day, every senior facility is going to be having an event probably. [link] [comments] |
Empire of Easy Pete vs the Republic of Dave. Who would win? Posted: 15 Jan 2021 08:27 AM PST |
Talon Company another Scientology reference? Posted: 15 Jan 2021 10:57 PM PST It's no secret that Fallout has parodied Scientology in the past (Hubologists), and as I watched a Scientology documentary, I noticed that they employ a security service called Talon Executive Services. It seems awfully coincidental that there's a Talon Company in Fallout 3, and a parody of Scientology in Fallout 2 (Hubology). Am I the first one to make this connection? I can't seem to find any references to this online. Maybe Bethesda doesn't want to get sued, haha?? [link] [comments] |

Whats the point of all these Vault Tec experiments? Posted: 15 Jan 2021 08:56 AM PST Isnt it kinda pointless to setting up all these vaults, design all the experiments (and keep them secretly) and in general spending a shitton of money on them to get results AFTER the world ended? Who will profit from these experiments anyway? If you want to do stuff like that, just do what everyone in history did: Get some prisoners to some lonely place in the world and do whatever the flick you want with them. Is there a legit reason or motivation for this? [link] [comments] |
We found Dogmeat!! Fallout Shelter ONLiNE 2021!! Walkthrough Part 3 Posted: 16 Jan 2021 04:28 AM PST Check out my youtube channel ;) www.youtube.com/channel/UCjGNcDxwi_UwsI6KVsn7Mjg?view_as=subscriber [link] [comments] |
Posted: 16 Jan 2021 03:55 AM PST I'm at the part where there's a force wall in the mobile base with a panel you can rig to explode. Well I did, left the room and came back and the wall is still there and I can't walk through it. Is this a glitch? [link] [comments] |
A change I'd make to The Frontier Posted: 16 Jan 2021 03:22 AM PST I would add the option to either play as the Courier, or play as a new character that's exclusive to the mod. I would choose a new character for two reasons. 1: They recommend that you start a new game and get to at least level 20. I'd rather jump straight into it. 2: I'd like to roleplay as a different person rather than still be the Courier. [link] [comments] |
Do HAM radios have any purpose?,I stumbled upon a lot of them and just turned them off. Posted: 15 Jan 2021 10:36 AM PST |

The Frontier will be available on Steam in a few days. Posted: 15 Jan 2021 02:09 PM PST Just reporting what the devs are saying on the stream right now. You can download it from Nexus (when the servers stop crashing because there is too many people downloading it lol) [link] [comments] |
Posted: 15 Jan 2021 03:05 PM PST With this post I will be describing reasons I support the brotherhood over the other factions in Fallout 4. The Railroad- They are a little too crazy about Synths. While they do also understand that the Institute is the enemy, it is for the wrong reasons. They would sacrifice 10 of their fellow human beings just to save 1 runaway Synth. The truth is, runaway Gen 3 Synth usually don't do anything but cause problems. Even the institute knows this and admits it. For example running off and joining raider gang, causing harm and killing innocent people. Or holding the person who they were made a copy of captive because they can't accept that they are not who they think they are and they were synthetically made in a lab. The Railroad also does nothing to better and help the people of the commonwealth. The Institute- The boogeyman of the commonwealth. They have given up on life on the surface, are selfish and only choose to "better humanity" by staying underground to themselves. They abduct people from their families to make copies of them and always have runaway synth because they can't even keep them under control. They have Gen 1 and 2 synths going around and killing people. They created super mutants who are also killing people and they don't care. They do nothing about it. They are not the answer for the commonwealth. The Minutemen- They are good people with good intentions but they lack the man power and fire power to actually get anything done. They rely on you to do literally everything for them while Preston Garvey orders YOU around as the "general" to do everything for him and practically take all the credit. The Brotherhood Of Steel- while I understand that they do have their problems and some ideals that seem somewhat radical they have good intentions. Some people compare them to the enclave who they are nothing like. The enclave literally wants to kill everyone and everything who is not apart of them and do not care about the people. The brotherhood fights raiders, gunners protect the trade caravans and wants to destroy the Institute, the single biggest continuous threat to the commonwealth. They fight against mutants and feral ghouls who continue to threaten humanity. They also patrol the commonwealth without the players help. Synths without the Institute are a doomed race no matter how you look at it. The Paladin Danse thing was messed up but I believe you can convince Maxon to keep him alive. Taking crops from the farmers is an optional quest and you can pay them if you want. The only "evil" or "bad" chapter of the BoS was the western chapter you see in NV run under Elder McNamara. The BoS in F4 are Lawful Neutral. [link] [comments] |
Could the Rock Isleand Arsenal be the last possible outpost of the Enclave? Posted: 15 Jan 2021 08:09 AM PST For some context the Rock Island Arsenal is an Arsenal located in The Quad Cities ont he Mississippi River located between Iowa and Illinois. If we ever go to Chicago/ Illinois in the Fallout universe. Would that likely be were the last Enclave outpost is? [link] [comments] |
