    So ya boy was playing fallout 4 and thought using a modern firearms mod would be nice however I didn't realize it also gave the enemies better weapons. I went into concord and got one shot by a raider using an anti material rifle

    Fallout 3 still playable?

    So I am thinking about getting my hands on Fallout 3, but when I get to the Steam page it has a notice saying "Fallout 3 is not optimized for Windows 7 or later." Plus tons of reviews saying how the game is broken these days. Is the game really broken and not playable? Or just buggy due to its age? Thanks!

    Really no reason for the Enclave to be in 3. They're just there to be antagonists. They don't even really have a goal goal that makes sense. Make Liberty Prime a final boss instead of an ally. think it'd be neat.

    In light of recent news, I feel like a Bethesda appreciation post needs to be done.

    They pulled this IP from extinction and created one of the strongest, most popular IP's in modern gaming.

    I know there is a lot of debate over which is better...Obsidians New Vegas compared to or versus Bethesda's F3/F4/F76, but realistically we're only having that discussion because Bethesda took a dead IP and brought it back to life with F3.

    As a fallout fan, I'm excited to see what will happen in the future, but I've got to give respect to Bethesda for what they've done.

    What’s the story behind the the non-vault dwellers who survived the Great War?

    I'm the kind of guy who (and I'm ashamed to admit) doesn't read through all the terminals and doesn't pay that close attention to the dialog during the story so I'm sure I missed this somewhere: can anyone tell me how all these NPCs we meet in the Fallout games who didn't come from vaults lived through a nuclear holocaust? There's probably some lore hidden in a random terminal or note found throughout the wasteland in one or multiple games that explains how these people survived.

    why is preston going random places

    this isnt a big issue its more of a funny occurance preston garvey seems to never be at sanctuary but in the most random spots

    one time he was at jamaica plane! hes been all the way to nahant church before! and hes always in the strangest spots like ontop of stuff or in the bushes

    can i get an explanation of why preston wants to play hide and seek?

    Help a mom make a New Vegas Character!

    So Since I had my Kid, I've found it hard to stay interested in a game for long periods of time. My SO suggested I give the Fallout games a try and I love them! I Started with Fallout 3, got Fallout 4 when it came out ,and now i love to delve into the lore of the franchise. I'm starting to play New Vegas and I can't seem to settle on a good Character Build. Anyone got any tips?

    Dima says you can't learn your a synth without dieing or that figuring it out would be quite fatal. But then he can wipe memory n install new ones, wouldn't that be the giveaway? Or checking their blood if I spose if you have the institute records. Or not aging or being effected by radiation. I am less sure about the radiation part

    Can anyone explain that or is it a plot hole?

    Running Fallout 3 on Windows 10 HELP

    So I have seen this has been a common issue, as Games for Windows live is now longer installable from the setup menu since you cannot connect to Microsoft's service (if it is PLS HELP).

    I have seen a lot of people saying they are running the game fine and others like myself, are unable to play this game. I have downloaded FOSE and attempted to use the GFWL Disabler as well as the unofficial patch and downloading the Win 7 and 8 fix so I could maybe get the DLL to get the game to work. I have messed with the compatibility settings and just cannot get the game to run. Upon launching FOSE I get an error that says "cannot inject DLL" whatever that means.

    Is there anyone that could potentially help me with this? Am I missing something important?

    I got fallout 4 G.O.T.Y the library and loved it! I want to get the normal fallout 4 because it's cheaper. Will my progress stay the same from my old saves?

    Question about FNV for a nosleep story.

    I haven't had the chance to play it yet, so this may sound "first three minutes of the game, dumbass" levels of obvious:

    Do terminals exist in FNV the way they do in 3 and 4? As in, could my nosleep narrator observe that the computers at their job had turned into RobCo terminals?

    A new sea based faction

    What happened to the U.S. Navy after the war I was thinking that maybe the remaining ships and sailors might be able to turn into a cool faction on the west coast maybe not a major faction but more like what the boomers were, what are your thoughts
