If the Institute doesn't think synths are equal to humans, why are they trying to replace mankind with synths?

I'm not referring to replacing certain individuals with synths for the sake of espionage, I'm talking about the Institute's greater plan to replace all humans above with synths. Why are they doing this? Can synths even breed? It seems like it would be much easier to just guide the world above in a better direction than to replace everyone with beings that can't even reproduce, especially when you view said beings as nothing more than machines.

Why was the MkII stealth suit painted with white markings?

Seems like a rather un-stealthy paint scheme for something designed for sneaking around in.

What pieces of lore did bethesda break with Fallout 4 and 76 ?

    Posted: 12 Sep 2020 07:12 PM PDT

I see lots of people saying fo76 breaks the lore, without giving any examples, so here is the place to say it. Also, I think that saying newly introduced factions are lore-breaking because we don't see them in other fallouts breaks rule 4 of the sub as we are uncertain of their canon fate in the wasteland, but please mods don't remove those comments, they can also be interesting :)

How big is liberty prime in the lore?

    Posted: 12 Sep 2020 04:12 PM PDT

We all know that the scale of things in the game are scaled down compared to what they're in the lore and such. The prydwen is way bigger, Enclave mobile crawler, etc. If thats the case then isn't liberty prime much bigger ? Its intentional use was to be a super weapon and liberate Alaska. It'd be hard to think that a robot its size in the game would somehow liberate a whole part of the country. Was it actually bigger than what it is in the games?
