Fallout 3: GOTY on Windows 10 GOG not working

I bought the Game of the Year edition for Fallout 3 a few months ago on GOG as I heard it actually worked on Windows 10 (unlike the Steam version) and I played it for a solid hour or so until it crashed. I tried to start it back up again from GOG Galaxy, it started but then gave me a black screen and crashed. I tried again from the folder, same crash. I reinstalled it, same crash. I reinstalled GOG Galaxy, same crash. It hasn't worked since and I've tried everything that has been recommended to me on other forums, from running the program as an administrator all the way to installing stability mods. I was having an itch to play Fallout 3 but I remembered it had been crashing for the last 3 months. Any help would be much appreciated.

I run a Amd Athlon 300g, Gtx 1650, 8Gb ram Which is well over the recommended requirements, however the game hovers round a choppy 30fps in the steelyard and everywhere else. No mods have ever been installed. On gog version please help
