Why don't we see any Ghoulified Children in FO besides Billy from FO4? Posted: 03 Jun 2020 01:30 PM PDT There must be children or teenagers that are Ghouls or have become Ghoulified from radiation/the bombs. Is there a reason why we dont see any in the games besides the boy from the fridge in FO4? [link] [comments] |
Why did the prison use vault boy Posted: 03 Jun 2020 10:15 PM PDT I was playing New Vegas today and I saw a sign outside of the NCR correctional facility and one of the warning signs used vault boy and it seemed like an odd place to have him. Does anybody know why? https://imgur.com/a/M2mrUC9 (This is a different one that I just saw on the wiki) [link] [comments] |
What actually happened in Junktown back in 2162? - A Mystery in the Vault Dweller's Memoirs Posted: 03 Jun 2020 01:31 PM PDT A part of the Vault Dweller's memoirs that provokes a lot of confusion for me is the following passage: "I found myself in Junktown. It was here that I learned the most important rule of all: doing a good thing sometimes means being a very bad person. My memories of Junktown are tainted, and I feel no remorse for my actions in that place." What could he be referring to? I realize it could be in reference to siding with Gizmo, but this seems very uncharacteristic/out of character with the Vault Dweller as portrayed in Fallout 2 and the memoirs itself. I am aware of the potential connection to the cut content switcheroo ending where Gizmo ends up leading to the better outcome, but considering that the Memoirs were made after this was cut (and therefore it can't be referring to this as the event), and even still the Vault Dweller has no way of knowing this outcome, I don't know, I find it very hard to believe. It doesn't make sense to me. I have another quibble with the seeming inconsistency where the memoirs seemingly imply that the Vault Dweller rescued Tandi via dueling Garl and therefore meaning the Khans plagued the area for years after, despite the fact that Fallout 2 confirms that the Dweller went in guns blazing and wiped them out to the (near) last. But that is fairly minor as it can be chalked up to the Shady Sands region dealing with other raiders of the same tribal family like the Jackals and the Vipers. So what did the Vault Dweller actually do in Junktown? [link] [comments] |
On the morality of Colonel Autumn, Jr. Posted: 04 Jun 2020 03:30 AM PDT Im gonna be honest. I love Fallout 3 and it's story elements, as well as all of the details in the Capital Wasteland that give Fallout 3 character. I especially love the Enclave in 3's story for their "grey morality" of sorts, as stated by many who also love this game. But, it seems to me that there isn't any solid proof of the Enclave's, specifically Colonel Autumn's grey morality. Is there any in-game proof for this claim? [link] [comments] |
What's with mama Murphy's prediction with the institute ending? Posted: 03 Jun 2020 11:43 PM PDT Im pretty sure she mentioned saving humanity right? Like, what does this mean? [link] [comments] |
How long is the average Super Mutants lifespan? Posted: 04 Jun 2020 03:07 AM PDT Originally I never really thought about the average mutants lifespan, but when replaying FONV it occurred to me that Marcus (and likely other super mutants around the Wasteland) are at least 130+. Is there a set date on when Super mutants die? Do they age similarly to ghouls? [link] [comments] |
What would the Enclave do to its members who become Ghouls? Posted: 03 Jun 2020 10:24 AM PDT What do you think they'll do? Exile? Scientific study, or bullet to the head? [link] [comments] |
How does teleportation tech work in the fallout games? Posted: 03 Jun 2020 11:51 PM PDT You see it with big mt and the institute, but the institute uses the classical radio frequency for it. Does the Big MT use the mysterious radio broadcast for it or what [link] [comments] |
Posted: 03 Jun 2020 06:20 AM PDT Pipeguns are introduced in fallout 4 and are also featured in fallout 76, but how could they work. If you take few rusty parts and slap them together that doesn't make a gun. A machined gun is a very sensitive system that has to be kept clean at all times, so how do few rusty piecesmake a gun? Where do vaults get their food ? Posted: 03 Jun 2020 04:04 AM PDT I know that vaults have water purification systems and "water chips" to help them either purify ground water or somehow create its own water from scratch, but where do they get their food ? Vault 101 has fliers up talking about annual bake-offs and none of the inhabited vaults we visit ever talk about buying or acquiring food, so where do they get their food from ? What do food processors in vaults do ? Do they create food from scratch ? Cook raw materials ? Add spices and additives and the such to make it taste better ? [link] [comments] |
Do we know what biological weapons China used in Alaska? Posted: 03 Jun 2020 10:22 AM PDT "Drawn into a war of attrition in a remote theater of war, China authorized the use of biological weapons on the front. In response, the American government ordered West Tek to develop a Pan-Immunity Virion on September 15, 2073" I was reading Sino-American War wiki page and came across this statement. It got me curious as to what biological weapons China deployed on the Alaskan front. Is there any information in game which gives us an insight to this question? Is it some sort of weaponized New Plague or something completely different. [link] [comments] |
