The Brotherhood of Steel and their taking of technology.

I understand that the Brotherhood of Steel is tasked with reclaiming technology, but are there any cases of the BOS confiscating technology from citizens of the waste? For example if Diamond city had a auto-doc (Robot Doctor capable of healing a person to full health) would they try to confiscate it? If The minutemen were sitting on a stash of high powered laser weaponry (I mean good laser weapons not muskets) would they attempt to take it? Maybe even by force? I'm wondering how far they would go to follow their Codex.

Was the pre-war World already Dealing With Mutant Animals/Humans Before the Bombs Dropped?

    Posted: 08 Apr 2020 02:57 PM PDT

I just started a new Fallout 4 playthrough, and during the prologue when the the Vault-Tec Rep knocks on your door, the player character can ask in the ensuing conversation 'Tell me more about this vault', to which the Vault-Tec Rep replies by saying Vault 111 has 'total protection from nuclear radiation and mutants'.

Does this mean that humans in the pre-war world were already dealing with mutants, or were at least aware of them? Thanks in advance.

[Fallout 3 spoilers] Questions about the GECK in Fallout 3

    Posted: 08 Apr 2020 05:24 PM PDT

So I only played part of Fallout 3 and I was wondering if anybody could explain the deal with the GECK in a mostly spoiler free manner. I haven't done the main questline so idk how involved it is and whether that's possible to do it spoiler free.

For reference, I am aware of the basic concept of the Enclave and BOS Project Purities (Poison the water vs cleanse it) and that the BOS uses the GECK to complete their Project Purity.

I was mainly wondering what happens to the GECK. Does it get "used up" or something in the process of Project Purity? Does it get broken or lost? Did the BOS use it outside of Project Purity? Aren't GECKs overpowered, wouldn't the BOS bring it along to Boston to help them in Fallout 4?

The Chronometer in the pip boy

    Posted: 08 Apr 2020 02:54 PM PDT

Father insinuates that it had been 210 years instead of 200 since the bombs fell and you were let out of the vault then, I'm wondering what year does the pip boy read when you first put it on? Is it accurate to what Father says?

Was Fort Hagen still Occupied by the military after the Great War? Or was it abandon? Kellogg terminal mentions his next orders after dropping off Shaun was to clear out fort Hagen but was there anyone still there?

Can Super Mutants recognize each other by voice?

Did other countries get nuked along with America?

Why is Kellogg still young when you meet him?

    Posted: 08 Apr 2020 08:10 AM PDT

After Kellogg takes Shaun, supposedly some fifty or sixty years pass and Shaun is old. How then is Kellogg still relatively young when you meet him in Fort Hagen. Is it because he's a cyborg?
