Why wasn’t your dad killed when you activated the tranquility lane failsafe? Posted: 23 Mar 2020 01:21 PM PDT During the tranquility lane simulation, you can activate a failsafe which causes all of the residents to die except Brain. Braun makes safe as it is his creation, but why is the dad safe and living after triggering this? Thanks [link] [comments] |
Is there any in-game indication that Mr. New Vegas is AI? Posted: 23 Mar 2020 06:04 PM PDT The only thing the wiki points to are Bethesda articles/blog posts and I don't recall any indications in-game. [link] [comments] |
Before the bombs fell, how expensive where Mr. Handys? Posted: 23 Mar 2020 06:19 AM PDT Where they comparable to cars: very common but not necessarily in every home? Or more like a boat? I'm interested in how "cheap" they are compared to synth tech developed later on. [link] [comments] |
Is there any organized group of Enclave remnants after the events of Fallout 3 Posted: 23 Mar 2020 03:58 PM PDT I never really got into the lore to much so i just wanna know [link] [comments] |
Did the Civil Rights Movement happen? Posted: 23 Mar 2020 04:25 PM PDT Did the 1960s see the rise and eventual granting of Civil Rights for African Americans like it did in our timeline? Even though the point of divergence was in the 1940s-1950s, this has been on my mind a lot for some reason [link] [comments] |
Why is there less bigotry against ghouls on the west coast than on the east coast? Posted: 23 Mar 2020 11:58 AM PDT I'm speaking mainly in the context of NV; I know there was bigotry in FO1 and 2 but by 2281, it seems to have fizzled out. Meanwhile on the east coast, ghouls are usually considered only marginally above super mutants. [link] [comments] |
Lorewise, What faction would be the best to run The Commonwealth? Posted: 24 Mar 2020 01:34 AM PDT In Fallout 4, you have the option to end the game with 1 of 4 Factions. The are The Minutemen, The Railroad, The Brotherhood of Steel and The Institute. Each has their own ideas on how they could save The Commonwealth, but who would be the best choice for The People of The Commonwealth? My answer would be some sort of treaty between the Minutemen and Institute, if one can be achieved. [link] [comments] |
Whats the point of Lone Wolf Radio? Posted: 23 Mar 2020 09:21 PM PDT I remember a creepypasta or something like that where it had to do with child molestation. But is there anything in the code about what it was suppossed to be? Linked the pasta [link] [comments] |
The oldest pre-war ghouls BEFORE the Divergence? Posted: 23 Mar 2020 10:00 PM PDT If the Divergence took place after WW2, then Hiroshima and Nagasaki still got hit with nukes in the Fallout universe, right? Nuclear strikes on America are what made Ghouls in the Wasteland, is it possible that the nuclear attacks on WW2 could've produced Japanese ghouls? I've heard of Eddie Winter being the oldest pre-war ghoul but he still came around a good deal after WW2, all that time with radiation, especially in the war torn history that makes up the Fallout universe, how was the ability of some people to turn into ghouls not discovered sooner? Ghouls aren't common but they're not THAT rare, sapient but especially feral ghouls, which seem to be everywhere in the wasteland. Eddie Winter, that one guy from Point Lookout, I forgot the name, I know they experimented with radiation pre-war and they turned into Ghouls, but how was that not something people just knew if they've had nuclear power and weaponry for over 130 years before the bombs dropped? Is there any canon ending to New Vegas? Posted: 23 Mar 2020 09:17 PM PDT I just thought that with like 70 endings there would be a canon one, or the game would be non canon. Because that would be a very signifigant affair in the midwest. [link] [comments] |
Did any nukes hit Appalachia itself or were they all outside of the region? Posted: 23 Mar 2020 08:52 PM PDT |
Why can some members of the COA survive radiation, like in the glowing sea? Posted: 23 Mar 2020 08:51 PM PDT It's even mentioned in far harbour, where most, or some members of the children have a natural radiation resistance but arent ghoulified. Has this ever been explained? [link] [comments] |
did bands like nirvana, led zeppelin, the beatles, the clash etc. still exist in fallout Posted: 23 Mar 2020 06:15 AM PDT since there is music in the games from throughout the 20th century i assume that these bands would be lore friendly to add to my game or would they not be. [link] [comments] |
How's exactly the Capital BOS helping the wasteland's inhabitants? Posted: 23 Mar 2020 06:49 AM PDT We all know that the DC BOS is different from every other chapter, because they actively try to help the population, more than scavenging for technology, which is the BOS real goal. We know this because we're told so throughout the whole game. But the only proof of the BOS helping other people is Project Purity, and that was abandoned for the best part of 20 years. So, how is exactly the BOS helping out wastelanders? We know they have been helping, because that brought upon them the division between them and the Renegades, but do we see any BOS member involved in actively helping other people, other than defending Gnr and patrolling DC? (Which is abandoned BTW, only raiders and mutants live in the ruins) Maybe I forgot something, but i don't remember seeing any sign of the BOS helping nearby comunities, like Rivet City, Megaton or Canterbury Commons. Sure, they're trying to contain the Supermutants, but that's about their own survival, even if it's helping other people. [link] [comments] |
