• My anarchist character, I don’t typically go this route but it was fun using House, killing Caesar and playing the NCR up to the very end while picking and choosing which tribes to exterminate and which to ally with

• Got the pimp boy, I think it broke my arm. Switched back to the normal pip boy and the tilt was gone. Then switched back to the pimp boy and my arm is tilted again. Not complaining. If fact, you ain't cool unless you check your pimp boy without a tilt.

Connection between Raul's jumpsuit and the ranch he grew up on? *Possible story spoiler* Posted: 10 Dec 2019 05:04 PM PST Raul's Petró-Chico jumpsuit had a name tag labeled "Miguel." I realized that this might be a connection to the ranch he grew up on, called Hidalgo Ranch. Miguel Hidalgo was a Mexican man who studied the French Revolution and essentially started the fight for Mexico's independence. Assassinating Caesar without losing access to 'You'll Know It When It Happens'? Posted: 11 Dec 2019 04:59 AM PST I love the idea of an Independent Courier who plays both sides for as long as he can, then betraying both sides in such a fashion that the future state of New Vegas comes out on top. To that end, I decided I would get Caesar killed without alienating the Legion (Normally I wouldn't bother since I enjoy fighting faction hit squads, but eh.) The answer seemed to be completing 'Et Tumor, Brute?' by letting Caesar die during the operation... but I don't want to get marked as a terrorist by the NCR unless there's no other choice. I've never gone this far down the Legion questline, so I have to ask. Will I lose access to the quest to protect President Kimball if I go far down enough the Legion questline before installing Yes Man into the Lucky 38 and then pursuing an Independent ending? submitted by /u/AngrySasquatch [link] [comments]

How much of the modding guide is necessary for light modding? Posted: 11 Dec 2019 12:59 AM PST I've been reading the guide that has kindly been developed by this community for modding fallout new vegas and I have a few questions. ​ How much of that guide is really necessary for mild modifications to the game? The guide you have written seems to be geared towards people who are modding the game heavily. I basically just want to play the game with the JSawyer mod and maybe a few bug fixes. I have no desire to revamp the game's appearance at all really, I just want to play the directors cut while running into as few game breaking bugs as possible. Is every step in that guide really necessary? Also, I have heard there are different versions of the JSawyer mod, what do I need to know about that? ​ Oh, and I guess I wouldn't mind installing a couple of radio station packs, but that's not exactly necessary. Sound Out Of Sync Posted: 10 Dec 2019 05:28 PM PST So I have this problem where after I play for about 45 minutes, the sound desynchronizes from the animations. But there isn't a frame rate drop or anything, just the sound desyncs.
