| Why do we keep coming back to Fallout 4? Posted: 03 Nov 2019 09:30 AM PST I love Fallout 4. But - why? Why do I love it? Why have we all (myself included) dropped the most hours into this game, in the series, when most of our favorites are (yet again, myself included) New Vegas. What is it about Fallout 4? The intro, though shorter than Fallout 3's, is still kind of long and boring. The game's graphics are ugly as sin. The main story is boring and uninteresting for the most part. There's lots of retcons. The only characters I relate with and enjoy are a couple of the companions. The world is full of empty settlements with nothing but generic NPCs. There's little choice or impact in quests. New Vegas had a better weapons and ammo sandbox and better crafting. So why do we love Fallout 4? How do I keep coming back, how do you? Why do we keep playing it? I don't want to start arguments, I just wanted to start a discussion about a game that baffles me like this. [link] [comments] |

Posted: 03 Nov 2019 02:01 PM PST Okay so some context: I believe this was before nuka world was even teased at us, but back during fallout 4s popularity, someone posted a april fool's article about a possible fallout dlc called "lonesome rhodes" If i recall, this fake dlc they teased would take place in rhode island, and you'd get there from Ulysses I guess, to travel to Rhode island, a place which the article stated was so radiated not even ghouls go there I think. It had also talked about fake drivable vehicles?? And honestly, that sounds cool. So! What do you guys think? Would this "dlc" be better than nuka world? And would y'all like it? I know I would've. Preston gives me the usual bs about that being great, can only help our cause etc, then literally breaks his fucking back to bend over backwards, all the while trying to keep eye contact with me. | Guys little help with fallout 1 Posted: 04 Nov 2019 03:35 AM PST So I had convinced the brotherhood of steel to help me get into the military base. One of them had a bazooka. They killed all the guards very easily, and they blew up the guy holding the key card to enter the base. I can no longer get the keycard now. Is there any other way to break into the super mutant base. ( note: I do not have an electronic lockpick and my lockpick skill is 27%. | Help !!! Can’t get settlers to Spectacle island. Posted: 03 Nov 2019 08:31 PM PST So as of recent, spectacle island has been where I've been sending my people too. Some of my other settlements have become way too big, so since the island is huge I started sending people from various settlements there, but for some reason now when I try to send people to the island it won't let me, all my settlements are available to send whoever too, but the island isn't. My settlement isn't even close to being 100% full. And I only have 21 people there as of now. Is there anyway to fix this?? [link] [comments] |

Not even sure why I do it. At this point, I hardly even notice I'm doing it most of the time. I noticed it again now, because I'm replaying New Vegas due to my enjoyment of ... a certain recent game by the same developer. | Posted: 03 Nov 2019 03:35 AM PST House only has to gain with peace between NCR citizens and freeside locals; tourists need to reach the Strip after all. The Kings attacking and killing NCR people will only make the travel to the Strip harder therefore making New Vegas generate less revenue. [link] [comments] |

| Install Fallout New Vegas Ultimate Edition Disk 2 on Xbox One 2019 Posted: 03 Nov 2019 10:41 AM PST Don't install disk 1 and only insert and install disk 2. It will begin downloading everything including the game and DLC. If you have already installed disk 1, uninstall it and install only disk 2.
