Fallout 76 players DO NOT REPORT Exploits! Bethesda will ban you for reporting

    Posted: 11 Nov 2019 01:24 PM PST

Bethesda banned the guy who made the fallout 76 interactive map for reporting an exploit after testing it to make sure it was legit, and then reporting it to Bethesda with instructions on how they could replicate it (this is basic QA People!) I know of several exploits but I will not report them to Bethesda as my friend, brother and I (who recently found it) will all get banned

If you would have told me when FO3 came out that one day I’d be able to play Fallout online with others, it would sound like the greatest thing ever.

Protip Bethesda, don't want people to find bugs or exploits? Fix your fucking game before release.

    Posted: 11 Nov 2019 06:49 PM PST

This and other subreddits have been filled with posts lately regarding the bans for users submitting bugs or exploits to Bethesda that need to be fixed in FO76. These people are going out of their way to do the job that you should've done to begin with Bethesda, it's called QA. It's sad to think that you were once a highly praised and well regarded company and now this is how you're behaving, pull your heads out of your asses before you become another Activision or EA.

And to think I was so excited for this game and even when it came out subpar I kept the faith because I saw the turnaround from ESO's launch to where it is now. Shame.

    What was Joana's cut content?

    Posted: 11 Nov 2019 09:59 PM PST

You know there's at least brief cut content with regards to Joana and Carlitos, because after finishing the quest "Bye Bye Love" if you run up and talk to her as her and the others are leaving The Strip, she will inform the Courier "This is where we have been staying"

So where exactly were they supposed to retreat to after their escape?

Fallout 4 - Prydwen vs USS Constitution

    Posted: 12 Nov 2019 03:22 AM PST

The Minutemen destroying the Prydwen from the castles felt kinda lame, imagine if the Minutemen used the USS Constitution as their vessel and set sail with an army of Minutmen to the Prydwen waging war.

    That would've been insane.

What’s the best way to get caps in Fallout 4?

    Posted: 11 Nov 2019 04:30 PM PST

I'm trying to find a good way of getting caps, as of now my method is picking up everything from enemies I kill and selling them, but it's not getting me caps fast and I'm trying to get some good weapons and apparel, my pain priority is the Spray N' Pray

What are some good ways of getting caps in Fallout 4?

Years after it was introduced, the 0kb bug still plagues Fallout 4

    Posted: 12 Nov 2019 02:13 AM PST

I had an email from Bethesda saying a fix would be released soon, one YEAR ago! Is it my bad for using CC content? I guess so, but no matter your opinion on CC, we can all agree that its majorly fucked up that Bethesda is happy to sell these mods to people, despite them being able to pretty much skuttle your game.

And with the GNR location being release soon, hopefully this bug gets some attention.

Mine is the crater of atom, because of the intense radiation and danger being there.

I have a newfound respect for people who stream or do Fallout Let’s plays.

    Posted: 11 Nov 2019 11:32 PM PST

Fucking hell is this difficult? I just started streaming Fallout New Vegas for the first time ever and the entire time i'm extremely insecure about how I sound, etc.

How do all of our favorite Fallout streamers and let's players do this?

Anyone else think they should port FO1/2 for mobile?

    Posted: 11 Nov 2019 09:51 AM PST

I think it would work very well, since the originals were meant to be 100% mouse controlled. You would lose hotkey functionality (which really came in handy) but overall I think it could be done. Would totally pay a premium price.

I’m doing an essay on Dystopia for school. I asked my teacher if I could pick a video game for my chosen literary work, and he said yes. I’ve decided to do the Fallout universe.

    Posted: 11 Nov 2019 11:23 PM PST

My teacher keeps telling me I'm focussing on the post-apocalyptic elements rather than the dystopian ones. Can anybody help me understand how the various corporations & government groups are dystopian?

Or should I pick a new focus?

Fallout D&D Advice. Reasons to Join the Legion

    Posted: 11 Nov 2019 09:36 PM PST

In my Campaign, set a few years before the First Battle of Hoover Dam, my players home city is about to be faced with an early form Legion (40 Tribes at this point). "As you look towards the Horizon, you see more smoke plumes billowing into the air, each marking a homestead or village that stood in the way of Caesar's Legion."

At a town meeting, the Players are going to get a choice. Fight, run, or accept the Mark of Caesar.

I've already given the players aplenty of reasons to run or fight, but not many to consider joining.

What I need are some good arguments for doing just that. Something that, say, an old waste lander might say during the meeting, or a Legion spy masquerading as a citizen.

Things to mention; the town they're in is built near a lake with a really good water purifier, and electricity is just being approved for public use (Not just for the clinic, the school, or the water purifier.)

Any posts are really appreciated. If you want any more context, please ask.

Fallout NV Alternate Ending (beginning) SPOILERS for NV and DLCs

    Posted: 11 Nov 2019 10:35 PM PST

I recently completed Fallout NV (DLCs included). I sided with Yes Man, I managed to drive off the Legate with speech checks and then I reached my favorite portion of the game. The confrontation between Lee Oliver's NCR forces and my Securitron army. I was not prepared to fight 6 rangers in riot gear, so it was quite a pleasure to have the option to basically tell the General that the damn was mine and he had better leave. My personal favorite dialogue option being "General, leave on your feet or leave covered in your flag." The dialogue truly felt like the Courier had gone mad with power. (similar to the 10th Doctor's "Timelord Victorious" moment, or 12's "get off my planet" phase) I was enjoying this tone, but the more I thought of it, the more the ending felt too clean. I decided to write an alternate ending where things go another direction. This is only the introduction, so leave feedback, if I get enough responses I'll post the rest.

Courier Six casually strolled down the crude steps dug into the hillside of the Legate's camp He had just sent the former Legion powerhouse back into the East breathing threats of a coming war. Each step he took towards the gate was an effort, it had been a long month. The Courier had gotten wrapped up in an elaborate plan to rob a legendary casino. He had fought with the burned man and settled a tribe war in Zion. He discovered the rotting remains of Big Mountain research center and took control, there were no survivors of his violent rise to power. He faced a reckoning for his past in The Divide and settled a score with his dark reflection in the courier Ulysses. After their great battle under the Old World flag, something inside him snapped. In the end, a choice was presented. He decided then that both the NCR and the Legion had been in power for far too long. He pulled the iron lever and sentenced both factions to death in nuclear fire. He walked the Lonesome Road back to his home in the Mojave and watched the fruits of his decision as two mushroom clouds rose in the distance, monuments to his new madness.

Let me know what you guys think.

    Crazy Fallout Random Encounters

    Posted: 11 Nov 2019 06:48 PM PST

What was the craziest or wackiest random encounter that happened to you in Fallout? It could be one of the hilarious random encounters of the original Fallouts, or some humorous situation in the newer games? I personally adore and miss the old random encounters, and the funniest thing that happened to me in the 3D games was in Fallout 3, an Enclave patrol and the Firelance encounter crossed paths.

Would Dean Domino support Mr. House?

    Posted: 11 Nov 2019 11:26 AM PST

Trying to find a suitable companion to complete a House route with, and Dean Domino seems the most appropriate since it's implied he heads to New Vegas if he survives Dead Money and they're both very similar in personality and ambition.

However, I also feel Dean's ego wouldn't allow him to work under somebody, so I'm currently mixed on saving him for an independent route. Would the two get along well if they had to interact? Which ending would Dean Domino most likely support?
