| Why does anyone fear the legion? Posted: 14 Oct 2019 10:08 PM PDT Literally every other faction that I have seen in fallout makes sense as to why they exist between games. The brotherhood horde technology so that it doesn't out into the wrong hands, the enclave have the remainder of the federal us government resources, and even the great khans are just resilient and love drugs. But the leigon. They are technophonic, they are chemphobic, and they are stupid enough to believe in eugenics. The armor they have is simply made from broken power armor, and they treat all failures like the burning man. Why does any other faction take these people seriously? Other than the slave trade, i cant see why all other factions would let them exist. They could literally be taken all out with low caliber marksman rifles. Are they just intimidating because of their brutality and tactics? [link] [comments] |

Posted: 14 Oct 2019 11:53 PM PDT Doing my second playthrough on new vegas, and I was trying to side with house for the future of vegas. However, being a loyal brotherhood member in all game, i couldn't follow his order to destroy the brotherhood... Especially when they were just coming out of the lockdown and needed to work on their numbers. House doesn't like the brotherhood because they horde technology... Yet house doesn't exactly share his technology. Even though the securations were made outside of roboco industries, house doesn't share the Platinum chip. House even directly tells you to take out people who are misusing technology (the omertas). They may not have a genius in their rank that can compare with house (aside from father eligiah, but they seem to have almost the exaxt same morals, the exact same enemies, and even want The exact same thing for new vegas and humanity (the betterment of rhe human race, and responsible use of technology, lead by leadership who focus on goal oriented logical approachs to stuff. From what you see on the terminials at the ncr substation, even eligiah wanted access to archamedies ... Which house wants you to destroy [link] [comments] |
