How are non-feral ghouls treated within the NCR?

I know some of them are Rangers (and Troopers, like Kyle Edward. Although he turned into a ghoul after what happened on Searchlight) but I'm curious about if they have other roles in society.

East Coast BoS lore is odd, not much of their travels is written and I also found after Maxson took over they got in contact with the West Coast BoS.

I was reading up on the wiki and found that the only notable thing from California to Washington DC was them stopping in the Pitt, I find it odd nothing else worth noting came up.

Also found it interesting the BoS now has the support of the West Coast again. This could be big for the future games.

Is there any evidence of a Vault-Tec HQ... Vault?

    Posted: 03 Aug 2021 11:59 PM PDT

To be more specific: Vaults were intended to study a variety of experiments. So where does that data go? Science isn't just a couple of experiments in a vacuum, results are generally compiled in some way. Often Vault management isn't even aware an experiment is going on, like in the case of the control Vaults. So there's nobody to even leave records outside of what the individuals in the Vault write down.

So my question is this: Is there any evidence of a Vault-Tec HQ? I would assume they would have a central Vault, and here's what got me thinking about this. A file on one of the terminals in Vault 87 in Fallout 3 written by one of the engineering staff says "...please try and get word back to Vault-Tec HQ that something very wrong is going on in the Experimentation section..." This was made after the war, and I would assume this person would know something about Vault-Tec operating procedures, so: where is this Vault-Tec HQ they're talking about?

I tried checking the wiki as well, the closest I could get was in the Fallout Bible. I realize this is not from any game but it's as close as I could get: "The Master was in the Vault-Tec private vault. This was the demonstration model built for the federal government, it was also very close to the Vault-Tec headquarters."

Why would Vault-Tec have no Vault for themselves? They would create a hundred(?) Vaults across America but no HQ capable of withstanding nuclear war? House in New Vegas (iirc) correctly predicted nuclear war, and there's no doubt Vault-Tec has at least as many resources as he did. There's no way the vaults were just for the shareholders, the Vaults are capable of actually withstanding nuclear war, and long periods of time fully functioning.

Can anyone find anything about this? Obviously the head canon can be strong with something like this, but it would be quite cool if we could find something officially canon. But of course, it's a big mystery as far as I'm concerned, so maybe it's just one of the ideas they have kicking around the bucket. Or, like others, they kind of forgot about the Iron Fleet.

I hope this doesn't go against any rules, I tried to not make it speculative. I just couldn't find any information about it online, and I thought it was a pretty big hole in the lore. I'm sorry if I'm dumb and just didn't look hard enough for discussions on the topic.

Did the the Chinese have their robots?

Just wondering if anything has been mentioned of that in lore. Was America the only nation that had effective robots and equipment?
