We know it's Canon, since it's mentioned in Bethesda's Fallout 3 (more specifically in the Capitol Post article about the United Nations disbanding in 2052),but most of the info regarding the conflict is mentioned in the non-canon Fallout Bible. Is there any more info?

And also, was the depiction of the fiery blue jet on its tail end an exaggeration, or did it really have a jet thruster on the back to make it go faster?
