Ask me a question about Fallout, then edit it after I answer to make me look dumb.

    Let us see what happens.

After considering all the factions in the fallout games the NCR is literally going to wipe the floor with the rest of America.

    Posted: 04 Aug 2021 04:02 PM PDT

Everyone knows the NCR are a post apocalyptic US army, after thinking about different factions it seems everyone will lose to the NCR just due to pure imperialism and it's kinda crazy.

Can anyone think of a group more powerful?

Would you like to see the return of traits in Fallout 5?

    Posted: 04 Aug 2021 03:40 PM PDT

In Fallout: NV you can assign character traits that grant you a permanent buff and debuff.

    For example:

Four Eyes: +1 PER while wearing glasses, -1 PER while not

Of course these might only come with the return of skill points as well.

What do you guys think about traits coming back?

(Also, I made my own trait):

    "Special Snowflake"

You're just so perfect, that you have no need to increase your power! Gain +1 to every SPECIAL stat, and any skill below 40 is automatically bumped up to 40. Any skill above 40 gets +3 additional points. The downside? You can't increase your skill points or any of your SPECIAL stats ever again! (Except through skill magazines, which ofc are temporary)

This trait will make your early game character very strong, with a downside being you might struggle during mid to late game.

4 is my favourite fallout game

    Posted: 04 Aug 2021 05:50 PM PDT

Ok please don't kill me, The game just has so much potential,With the right mods you can completely customize The commonwealth, you can tell your own story, the base game story is lacking, but to me everything else makes up for it.

Maybe the reason fusion cores don't last long is because the sole survivor is pulling them out wrong?

    Posted: 05 Aug 2021 01:33 AM PDT

This could explain how a fusion core can power a building for two hundred years but only power power armor for about ten minutes. The sole survivor might be just ripping out the fusion core which could be breaking it causing it to be less efficient.

Inspired by recent threads and r/Seaofthieves and r/LoL. Thought Fallout would be the perfect setting for this type of post.

    Let 'em rip!

Fallout players named Gary. Tell us your experience waking into Vault 108 in Fallout 3.

Thinking about starting a new survival mode tonight. You ever find yourself caught in a loop of making a new character, playing for awhile, life gets busy so you don’t play then when you come back to it you’d rather just start fresh?

    I can't play fallout 4 with mods

    Posted: 04 Aug 2021 09:52 PM PDT

So there is nothing wrong with my mods they work just fine and playing with the mods are fun but as soon I find something I don't like about fallout 4 or don't like one of my mods I leave the game and go mod hunting again I can't get a full game without me trying to fix something and I feel that I have more hours in the mod menu then the actual game it self and the only way I can get a full playthrough is playing with no mods

Am just wondering if anyone else has this problem too

Why isn't The Thirst Zapper a radiation weapon?

    Posted: 04 Aug 2021 03:29 PM PDT

So The Thirst Zapper is a water gun, right? And all the water we find in the world is chock full of radiation! So why doesn't The Thirst Zapper do radiation damage?

Do enclave soldiers get paid 50$ a year

    Posted: 05 Aug 2021 01:41 AM PDT

In dornans rant he says it would take 510 years to pay off the loss of power armor and in going by the wiki mk 2 power armor cost 25000$

What is stopping the NCR from expanding after they get Hoover Dam?

    Posted: 04 Aug 2021 09:24 PM PDT

Let's assume that NCR successfully takes control of Hoover Dam and the New Vegas Strip.

Do you guys think they would consolidate their occupation of it, or just continue in expanding and absorbing more territory right after.

My argument and personal opinion is this: The NCR wants to grab every territory in their grasp. The NCR does provide protection to its occupied territories, but one look at the NCR's Mojave Campaign tells a story that they're spreading themselves too thin (Fiends right outside of their main base (McCarran), their prison being broken out of without resistance, Nelson being taken right under the watch of their forward forts (Forlorn).

That kind of problem wouldn't be so serious for them if they were content to just focus on the territories they have, but it seems to me that they just want to grab everything in terms of territory and power. Whether that's a good thing or not, I'd like to hear your guy's opinion.

Whats the most fucked up vault in all the games

[FO4] can you lock yourself out of every ending if you piss off all the factions and then become a raider in Nuka world, making Preston Hate you

    Posted: 04 Aug 2021 08:45 PM PDT

I think the next fallout should be set somewhere where there is nuclear winter

    Posted: 05 Aug 2021 01:45 AM PDT

Its ok to be locked out of a faction early on or fuck up. Players want consequences for there actions.

    Posted: 04 Aug 2021 07:00 AM PDT

I dont like in f4 how I can eccently be the most evil sob in the world but every God dame faction treats me like the God among men. Its ok being locked out of factions early on and have them hate you. The best part of new vegas was pissing off the leagion, and randomly having a death squad pop out of nowhere. My god that was some fun times. Let us be haited its fun being bad.

Can I destroy all Factions in FO4 without the Minutemen

    Posted: 04 Aug 2021 10:10 PM PDT

So I know you can destroy all the factions using the Minutemen, but I want to know how bout without them? I tried looking it up but everyone uses the Minutemen and I also didn't look that long. I have the idea of using the railroad and killing the Institute and BoS then just wiping them out on my own, but can I kill the railroad after that or are they essential. It seems like a stupid, noobie question, but funnily enough I've played the game since release but never sided with the railroad, so idk if there essential or not. (Idk what the spoiler warnings are like for here so I put one just in case)

Is the Talon Company logo copyrighted by Bethesda?

    Posted: 05 Aug 2021 02:31 AM PDT

Could an actual real world company use that logo in a slightly modified version without infringing copyright or would they have to buy the rights to use an in-game logo commercially?

Which group from any game is your favorite/least favorite?

    Posted: 04 Aug 2021 09:48 PM PDT

I'm just curious what the most liked and least liked groups in the fallout universe are. Me personally I like the kings in FNV and disliked the railroad in 4

Gorobets said he'd have a bonus for me after killing Driver Nephi. Killed him, but Gorobets isn't at McCarran. Where is he?
