Food only regenerates your health for a few seconds which is really cool but ate my inventory thinking it just wasn't much hp until I read it. Second I've noticed the animals and bugs really don't bother you on here unless you get to close or attack them which is a huge change. In fallout 3 if you're even within eyesight everything will attack you except rad roaches. Them or I wondered too close. Three there's definitely more combat between npc's on here compared to fo3. Also the geckos are hilarious and terrifying. I'd be walking and get too close when suddenly they come running out of nowhere chasing me only to run away after a couple shots. Seriously didn't expect them to be on two feet and died laughing when seeing them. [link] [comments] |

They wouldn't have died from the bombs considering their vaults worked well against that so why did they just disappear without a trace? How would you feel about dual wielding similar to Skyrim in a fallout game. It would potentially double your damage, But also prevent you from blocking or locking down sights. Somewhere I read it was a deal between the US government and Vault Tec and that they thought it was essential. | Posted: 30 Jul 2021 06:38 PM PDT Is Charon alive? I was going to the Washington Monument, but Charon stayed outside and apparently was killed by a Super Mutant. I came back out, saw Charon's body. But later when getting Fawkes as a companion during American Dream, it tells me Charon went to the Ninth Circle. This caused me to check Underworld, didn't see him, after this I went back to the monument and his body was gone. So what's happening here? Apart from Caps, which I have plenty for now.. am I missing anything not playing Caravan Card game. It's the same with playing in the casinos, where I already know 21 and roulette.. but really not into playing it.. I am more interested in the quests and plots I am on.. Maybe if I could learn to master caravan outside my time playing Fallout NV.. (say on the phone) that would help.. But have not found one. [link] [comments] |

| I gotta say this to the classic fallout fans Posted: 31 Jul 2021 03:24 AM PDT Here's what I gotta say, as a person who really wants to get into the old fallouts after playing 1, my problem is that the classic fans say "Just play the old games!" The problem there is A: getting your hands on them, like why are there three to five versions of Skyrim and no ports of the old fallouts it's ridiculous! And B: Actually getting it to work properly because the aspect ratio is one thing, but the fps based tick system for mariposa is another, if you have a current low end PC you have to cap the frame rate of the game to get through the lasers as an example. So if are any classic that read this, don't be so harsh towards the new fans. Instead get pissed at the people who own the franchise and are still making it hard as hell to allow newer people to experience these amazing stories. [link] [comments] |
| Fo4 Need Help with own Looksmenu Overlay Posted: 31 Jul 2021 01:23 AM PDT Recently I've been trying to create my own Overlay for Looksmenu. I followed a tutorial by krisser143 on the Nexus. I've been doing the editing of my chosen image in Gimp but something is unclear to me. It's the part where it says you have to add a layer, fill it solid black, add a layer mask. Copy paste the first layer into this layer mask. But it doesn't mention what type of mask it has to be such as black transparent ect. and how to copy, paste the first layer into the layer mask. I have tried looking for other tutorials that explain the process in more detail but there are none for beginners who are looking to create their own Looksmenu Overlay(s). Which makes it very difficult to start in the first place. So can someone who has done this before explain to me what I have to do at this point. Posted: 30 Jul 2021 02:23 PM PDT I was talking with someone on discord about fallout 4 and they told me that one thing thay stuck with them is when they went into a church, in a swampy area with just trees around they stole an egg and then got killed by a giant creature. I suspect it is a deathclaw. They also said it was around the cambridge area. Anyone know what they talking about? | problem with running fallout 4 on linux Posted: 31 Jul 2021 01:40 AM PDT so when i first installed fallout 4 on my pc (ubuntu 21.04) it ran perfect and at 144 fps max with no physics engine problems a couple weeks ago tho it started running at about 20 fps for no reason and i've tried turning however tho when i turn im using proton 6.3-5 btw and i've tried experimental and 5.13-6 [link] [comments] |
