Running a cowboy build. How should I go about Old World Blues? Posted: 01 Jul 2021 11:16 PM PDT From what I understand, pulse and energy weapons are the way to go but I don't think a six-shooter, lever actions and dynamite will do much good against those pretty tough robo-scorpions and lobotomites. I just wanna cook at a campfire and sleep at a shack in goodsprings. Now I gotta fight robots and deal with inept scientists [link] [comments]

Posted: 02 Jul 2021 12:56 PM PDT Hi guys, I've been a New Vegas fan for a long time. Got myself 2k hours, blah-blah-blah and all that... But all this time I've been wondering — why my characters don't want to sleep, like at all ? I've been testing this so many times on so many playthroughs and still notice that even after waiting and waiting and waiting e.t.c., the SLP bar is rising SO slowly, that it's basically non-existent. Like right now, I'm at level 35 in Sierra Madre(Preparing for Gala-event to be precise). With OWB and HH(boy do I hate doing DLCs out of order tho) finished already. And around 80 hours invested in this run. In these 80 hours, my SLP bar never passed the first "threshold". While I did sleep here and there from time to time for RP reasons, I would assume that you're supposed to cross the first "threshold" at least once per 24 hours. So, are there any fixes for that ? Does anyone here suffer from the same RP desire to gimp himself ? [link] [comments]
Are there any mods that improve or add variety to the body shape of characters? Posted: 02 Jul 2021 04:00 PM PDT I'm not talking about mods that are intended to make the female character models more "attractive." In general, the characters in New Vegas—male and female—look thin and rigid. Are there any mods that change that? Bonus if you get to choose different body types—or even morph your character's body in the creator a la Fallout 4! [link] [comments]
Posted: 02 Jul 2021 05:33 PM PDT owned fallout for years with 800 hours on it. i have gone a few months without playing it and i had not modded it in while so I went ahead and added a bunch of mods with Vortex from Nexus. After that whole affair, I started the game by nvse_loader, and a black box popped up, on the upper left of the screen, and instantly stopped responding. After a bit of fiddling with the game, I disabled all the mods and dlcs, reinstalled the game, and tried starting the game like that, but the same problem happened. Someone said that you needed GfWL, so I installed that, but same issue. I've tried pretty much every compability mode, as well as admin. [link] [comments]
My first playthrough of FNV lasted 17 hours, did I miss anything? Posted: 02 Jul 2021 05:11 PM PDT So, I've never played this game before. This is literally the first time I played a Fallout game from beginning to end. Before buying it, I googled the average length of the game. Around 30 with no DLCs. The ending I've chosen was No Gods, No Masters. Did I miss something? Or maybe I played the game way too quickly? I tried to complete every quest I could. This was a completely vanilla experience, no mods, and no DLCs. [link] [comments]
How to get lots of throwing spears Posted: 02 Jul 2021 04:17 PM PDT I'm thinking about doing a throwing spears only run but when I looked up where to get them the only concrete answer I got was that they are sometimes sold at Mick and Ralphs. Any tips as to how to get tons easily? Edit: forgot to mention I'm doing a legion playthrough [link] [comments] |
