Jury Rigging is the Best Perk. Fight Me. Posted: 15 Jul 2021 08:41 AM PDT I just love how you can repair a .45 with a 9mm, or how you can repair POWER ARMOR with metal armor. It's just a damn good perk, and I am DEFINITELY keeping it for future playthroughs. [link] [comments]

Yo, how fucking heavy are Bloatflies? Posted: 15 Jul 2021 06:04 AM PDT So I'm at the start of game, trying it out on PC (feels a lot better with M&KB, might finish the game this time, lol). Anyway, Sunny sent me out for the Broc Flower and Xander Root. Killed the Bloatflies up there, got the flower, whatevs. Decided I was gonna toss their corpses around for fun, cause why not? Couldn't lift any of those fuckers off the ground! Like, I thought the first one I tried was clipped somehow. Nope. Couldn't lift any of them up, only drag them around. My STR is at 6, and earlier when I was shooting geckos with Sunny, I was tossing that Goodpsrings Settler's body around. Literally tossing a full grown woman in the air. Even the Bark Scorpion was lighter, lol. I'm not really read up on Fallout lore or anything, but are Bloatflies supposed to be super heavy and dense? Is there any reasoning behind this, or is it just a quirk of the game? Quite tickled by this, either way. [link] [comments]

Did House have a plan for running and maintaining the Dam / Helios? Posted: 15 Jul 2021 02:56 AM PDT My endless quest for satisfying post-independent headcanon continues. Is there any explanation as to how House, or the Courier if they stuck around to govern, would handle running and maintaining this infrastructure? It's been forever since I actually completed the main story and doubly forever since I talked to house for more than 60 seconds before I started blasting, so maybe this is mentioned. In my runs, I always finish Arcade and Veronica's quests and have them stick with the Followers, so I imagine the Courier leveraging them for all the icky tricky sticky apocalyptic city planning kind of stuff. Still, it's hard to imagine the NCR not sabotaging at least some of their infrastructure on the way out. [link] [comments]

Question about ultimate edition Posted: 15 Jul 2021 09:15 AM PDT I want to buy the ultimate edition of New Vegas because I've never played the dlcs and they look amazing. I'm currently on my 7th play through of the base game and I'm level 22 with maxed out guns, speech and sneak. I'm wondering if I buy the ultimate edition of the game will I be able to carry my current character over to the dlcs or do I have to start over and work my way up to a high level again? I play on the 360 btw. [link] [comments]
