- Vadim and Yefim bobrov
- Why aren’t there more mutated insects?
- How/ why does vault 21 have its gear door on the sign outside the vault?
- Is the reason East Coast Super Mutants are all 'dumb dumbs' because by the time Fallout 3/4 happens, super mutants have run out of 'pure' humans to subject to the FEV?
Is there a lore reason there aren't nightkin on the east coast. Posted: 18 Jul 2021 12:34 PM PDT I understand for a normal super mutant to become a nightkin it needs to be exposed to stealth boy radiation so why don't we see any in fallout 3, 4 or 76. I don't see why super mutants on the east coast wouldn't use stealth boys. So is there a lore reason we don't see any nightkin on the east coast. Edit: I now know thanks to you guys that nightkin come from the master thanks. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 18 Jul 2021 10:49 PM PDT My question is how do they have a russian accent, I mean they would have to have been surrounded by people with russian accents and yet they are the only characters who have russian accents. I know this question is stupid but I just thought it was a bit weird [link] [comments] |
Why aren’t there more mutated insects? Posted: 18 Jul 2021 02:55 PM PDT Seriously, bugs are literally freaking everywhere outside, so shouldn't there be a crap load of them everywhere? Take Boston for example, there should be a frick load of cockroaches that survived in the sewers and crawled up. [link] [comments] |
How/ why does vault 21 have its gear door on the sign outside the vault? Posted: 18 Jul 2021 04:23 PM PDT Was this done prewar as some sort of vault-tec promotion for vegas? Was it done post war when house was rebuilding the strip? If so, how where did the gear door come from and how did they get it up there? [link] [comments] |
Posted: 18 Jul 2021 06:39 PM PDT In Fallout 1 if you steal the water chip from Necropolis the Overseer of Vault 13 tells you that you must stop the Master, because their search for 'pure' (one's living in the vaults not exposed to Radiation) humans will eventually lead them to Vault 13. The West Coast has it's share of 'dumb dumbs' but there were a lot more 'pure' humans in 2161 to be a part of the Master's Army. Many vaults remained occupied, and places like Vault City show that relatively unmutated humans are more abundant on the West Coast. This had me thinking, maybe that's why there are no smart super mutants on the East Coast. It's 2277/2287, 200+ years after the bombs fell. By this point most Vaults have either been abandoned, or their inhabitants were met with the fates of Vault Tech's experiments. Not many vaults around, save 101. This made me think, maybe there were smart super mutants on the East Coast at one point, but over time their supply of 'pure' humans dwindled till they became scarce. Bonus theory: Fawkes' wikipedia entry says he's 200 years old. Meaning he was an original Vault 87 member, which makes sense given his Vault 87 jump suit. This means he was most likely a 'pure' human, he's the only super mutant we see wearing a vault jumpsuit, and he's the only intelligent supermutant in Fallout 3. It's strange he isn't intelligent like Marcus, but maybe Vault 87's equipment or procedure were less effective than the West Coast equivalent. Thoughts/opinions on my stoned and drunk ass' thoughts?
