What wastelands do you hope to visit in future titles, and why? Posted: 26 May 2021 10:40 AM PDT Do you want to see any specific locations due to their landmarks or historical significance? Or do you want to see a certain conflict play out and think a specific locale would be best suited for it? Edit: Wow, this blew up. Just like Megaton. Edit II: Y'all know Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Oregon were the setting for Fallout 1 and 2, right? [link] [comments] |
Posted: 26 May 2021 06:14 PM PDT Put minor spoilers in title because not sure the exact spoiler rules but on to the actual post. After finishing the Call to Arms quest and joining the BoS when you talk to Rhys as Nick he says your not the military type even after you tell Danse you have a military background and you don't have the option to correct him because Nick was clearly in the Military and a good enough soldier to give a speech the day the bombs fell. Posted: 27 May 2021 02:35 AM PDT Part of an ongoing project to develop a full TTRPG Setting of Kansas City. The Guide itself is coming along well, hopefully will have a completed version to share with you in a few months (it's just something I like to work on in my spare time). Shoutout to u/Bosnian_War_Criminal who had a big influence on the map style! [link] [comments] |
Posted: 26 May 2021 06:42 PM PDT I've heard it's the best one and I am considering on whether I should get it. [link] [comments] |
How much backstory do you think the player character have? Posted: 26 May 2021 08:00 AM PDT What are all of your opinions on the MC having a backstory? personally, I think they should be closer to an enigma than a fleshed-out character so you can put a personification of yourself or an OC on that character. That's why I didn't like the story of fallout 4 or lonesome road that much because it already establishes too much lore on the courier/sole survivor. [link] [comments] |

Fallout 4 felt like a waste (No pun intended) Posted: 27 May 2021 12:46 AM PDT I just finished Fallout 4 after 88 hours. I did all the main quests and side quests, but skipped the radial quests. I also completed Far Harbor, Nuka-World, and the Machinist. The game definitely has a better world map than Fallout 3 and New Vegas. The plot is good, too. However, the main missions and side missions feel too much like radial quests with one or two layers on top, and the dungeon crawling lacks exciting exploration, like with the Dwemer ruins in Skyrim. The game needs more deep, immersive missions like "The Freedom Trail" sub-story, boss fights and less missions that are just about fighting or finding items. Nuka-World felt almost entirely like it was made of radial missions because of the overly structured base crafting. This game was basically TES Oblivion all over again. 7/10, needs major work. Hopefully Fallout 2 and Tactics will be better. [link] [comments] |
Does extracting oil from bones (i.e., cutting fluid) make any sense? Posted: 26 May 2021 04:13 PM PDT First off, I know Fallout runs off of Science! more than science, I'm just curious. Most crafting in Fallout (Fallout 4 here, specifically) makes some sense: wood and steel (nails) to make walls, explosives from fertilizer, nuclear material for glowing sights, etc. Reasonable enough. I don't understand making oil out of acid, bones, and water, though. Is there a chemical process for dissolving bones to get useful lubricants? Thank you! [link] [comments] |

Posted: 26 May 2021 11:09 AM PDT Howdy, wastelanders! Every Fallout game has his religions and cults. The Children of the Cathedral and the Followers(Fo1), Hubology and the Renewal(Fo2), Children of the Atom(Fo3), Bright Brotherhood(FNV), the Pillars of the Community(Fo4) and cash(F76). Please, be by my side on this one, let's pray for a cult built around Long Dick Johnson in Fo5, for He needs you not to kneel to praise him. P.S.: New Canaan is not a cult nor a religion, is the only right way of living. [link] [comments] |
UPDATE: Fallout New Vegas Inspired Playlist Posted: 26 May 2021 06:25 PM PDT Almost a year ago I posted my Fallout New Vegas playlist here and received great response for it. Recently I have added 20+ songs. I was wondering if you guys could again provide feedback on it and the new songs. Hope you enjoy it. It's been fun to make: https://open.spotify.com/playlist/1oNxG3f3ryfbtf4shnm28c?si=I6cHF07-QWaok9Ga4ohZFw [link] [comments] |
Posted: 26 May 2021 08:44 PM PDT So I haven't played a New Vegas campaign in over five years. I was getting ready to start a new one with the plan of adding some mods to 'flavor' the experience a little more. While downloading the mod that enables the use of 4GB's of ram as opposed to the regular 2, I discovered that in the text box that popped it when it was patching, my copy was listed as FalloutNV.exe (DE). I seriously have zero recollection of how I ever could of gotten a Germany copy of this game as I am from the United States. In game confirmed this evidence by showing the lack of blood and gore available in the standard versions of the game. All the textboxes and dialogue was all English. I own the ultimate edition with all the DLC's if that matters at all. What the hell do I do? I want to play this game as it is meant to be played without the censorship from a country I've never been to, is there any remedy? [link] [comments] |
Can anyone send me their Fallout4Prefs.ini in low settings? Posted: 27 May 2021 12:03 AM PDT For some reason my Fallout 4 can't change settings. Can someone upload their's in the low settings? [link] [comments] |

Posted: 26 May 2021 10:46 PM PDT I have fallout new vegas, and it came with two discs. I know that one of the discs is the main game the second one is the base game with all dlcs but the thing i want to know is does the data on disc one transfer to disc two? Because i played disc one without knowing that disc two had the dlcs and i putted hours of gameplay into fallout on disc one and i am still playing though my playthough and im worried i will have to restart it all over. Possible Fallout 76 Update Spoilers Posted: 26 May 2021 09:50 PM PDT I'm not sure about any of this but, I think I've heard something about pets and legendary weapon/armor crafting being added in Fallout 76. Can someone confirm if this stuff is being added? And, if it is being added, can someone also tell me how it would work? [link] [comments] |
Getting an issue with hints menu Posted: 26 May 2021 09:34 PM PDT When ever I try to place a logic gate the tooltip comes up and extends past the screen, making me unable to get out of it. Does anyone know a fix? [link] [comments] |
Fallout 4 (FO4) bug, I finished "Emergent Behaviour" but the voice stays the same. Posted: 26 May 2021 03:01 PM PDT I finished the quest, but most of her lines are stil spoken in het old voice and her mouth doesn't move. Rebooting the game and reloading (to an earlier stage in the quest) doesn't work. Her robot form was modded ... but that did not cause any problems during previous playthroughs. I'm playing on XBOX. Fallout Midwest Episode Two [FULL SCRIPT 2/2] Posted: 26 May 2021 04:49 PM PDT INT. REDEMPTION - CHIEF ASHFORD'S OFFICE - CONTINUOUS Chief Ashford sits back in her chair and looks at all the paperwork on her desk. Ras peers up at Chief Ashford. CHIEF ASHFORD: Well, my night has taken a turn, but you can still have some fun. She pulls two BEVERAGE VOUCHERS from her desk drawer and places them is Ras's mouth. Ras exits. EXT. REDEMPTION - SALOON - CONTINUOUS Rasputin enters the saloon. Susannah McCorkle's cover of "I Don't Want To Set The World On Fire" is being performed onstage. INT. REDEMPTION - SALOON - CONTINUOUS The bartender sees Rasputin and grabs a doggy bowl. BARTENDER: The usual? Rasputin barks to the affirmative. The bartender grabs a bottle of whiskey, places the doggy bowl in front of Rasputin, fills the bowl, and takes the BEVERAGE VOUCHERS. Rasputin laps it up. The Head of Trade is in the corner of the saloon, menacingly staring at Rasputin. INT. PROSPERITY - TOWN HALL - DAY Lucy enters the mayor's office. Envoys One and Two are sitting opposite Mayor Thomas (70s). MAYOR THOMAS: Lucy, these men need you to go with them. INT. REDEMPTION - HALLWAY - LATER Unka D sits in a chair that is too small for him outside of Chief Ashford's office. INT. REDEMPTION - CHIEF ASHFORD'S OFFICE - CONTINUOUS Lucy sits across from Chief Ashford. Envoy Two shuts the door as he and Envoy One leave the room. Lucy and Chief Ashford stare at each other. Lucy shrugs her shoulder and perches her lips. LUCY: Your people came by my settlement and asked me to come with them. It didn't feel like I had much a choice. CHIEF ASHFORD: Where'd you get that vault suit? Lucy looks down at her suit. LUCY: It was my mother's. Chief Ashford smiles. CHIEF ASHFORD: How old are you? LUCY: 20. CHIEF ASHFORD: You were born out here? LUCY: As far as I know, yeah. CHIEF ASHFORD: ...Parents? LUCY: They're gone. CHIEF ASHFORD: I'm sorry. LUCY: They died when I was little. So...why exactly am I here? CHIEF ASHFORD: I just wanted to get a look at you. I'm basically your aunt or...great aunt? LUCY: You're from the vault? CHIEF ASHFORD: Yeah, I was...Yeah...I'm from a vault. So tell me. What do you think of this place. What've you seen? What've you heard? LUCY: I heard you strong-arm settlements into giving you their resources. That if they refuse, you'll slaughter them and take it. CHIEF ASHFORD: Oh wow, uhm, I won't deny that. The wording is harsh, but it's true in some cases. My men are tasked with acquiring settlements. I don't really ask how they get the job done. As long as they get it done, I'm happy. My priorities lie with my citizenry and ensuring their wellbeing. LUCY: So basically, fuck anyone who's not a citizen. I mean, unless they fall in line, right? Chief Ashford chuckles. CHIEF ASHFORD: I'm well aware of the moral objections. I've accepted that not everyone will comply, but as far as I'm concerned, if you're not on my side, you're in my way. Not you, but in general. LUCY: That's fucked up. CHIEF ASHFORD: Can't please everyone. LUCY: So, in the way of what? What's the end goal? CHIEF ASHFORD: Look, we distribute resources throughout the wastes, at least the territories under our control. Instruction manuals for plumbing, engineering, concrete mixing. Without us, these people would be toiling away, doing...I don't know, whatever they were doing before...You don't remember this, but this is how the vault use to operate. We had our assigned duties. We were a part of a system designed for sustainability. A doctor's service wasn't conditional. Their patients were first responders or hydroponics workers or they worked at the generators or purifiers. Every job, every single one, was essential to the health of the overall system and we knew it. We took care of each other. That's the other half of it. That's what you're not seeing. But I won't pretend I'm doing this out of righteous concern for the Wasteland. I'm doing this because I can. Because who else in the Wasteland has my capability? My vision for how things could be? How I could make them given my influence. LUCY: Are you gonna take Prosperity? Is that what this speech is leading to? Because those people at that settlement took care of me after my parents died. They do take care of each other. You can't just roll over them because...they don't do it your way. CHIEF ASHFORD: I'll make you a deal. You stay here and shadow me, and I'll leave your settlement to operate independently. We'll even send resource caravans with no strings. LUCY: Do I have a choice? Chief Ashford pauses. CHIEF ASHFORD: Let me show you around. INT. REDEMPTION - MAIL SORTING FACILITY - CONTINUOUS Chief Ashford walks Lucy and Unka D through the mail sorting facility as people work. CHIEF ASHFORD: Alright, so incoming mail is brought in by our couriers and dumped in this basket. Our sorters sort through the basket, match the names to the current residents on file, and our mailmen take the parcels to their homes. Outgoing mail, whether it's a resident's handwritten letter, our typewritten flyers, or stuff we've printed on the press, goes in this outgoing basket, where it's sorted by territory and sent with the corresponding courier. EXT. REDEMPTION - DAY Chief Ashford continues giving Lucy and Unka D a tour of the town. LUCY: Will I still be able to see them? CHIEF ASHFORD: Of course. You're not a prisoner...Wanna see something cool? EXT. REDEMPTION - CAGES - CONTINUOUS Chief Ashford shows Lucy and Unka D the caged animals. CHIEF ASHFORD: We have all sorts of preservation efforts going on. We have this zoo area, but also a more free range area just outside of town. We have deathclaws, yao guai, brahmin- LUCY: What are those? Lucy points to giant porcupines. CHIEF ASHFORD: Those are radpines. LUCY: I've never seen them before. CHIEF ASHFORD: They're a rare around these parts. Guaranteed to be extinct if it weren't for our intervention. Guarded everywhere but the belly, which makes them prime targets for molerats. We have to reinforce the floors to make sure none can get in. A caged ghoul comes up to the bars. GHOUL: Please let us out. It's not right that you keep us in here like this. Like caged animals. Chief Ashford smirks. CHIEF ASHFORD: Shut up before I lock you in for real. The ghoul laughs. GHOUL: I just wanted to see the look on her face. CHIEF ASHFORD: This is Doctor Franklin Wild. He's our wildlife specialist. He takes care of the animals. Chief Ashford looks at her PIP-BOY. CHIEF ASHFORD: I have matters to attend to. Explore the town and we'll regroup later. Chief Ashford exits. FRANK WILD: So you're the new blood, huh? She must like you. I don't think I've ever seen her give a personal tour...ever. LUCY: Really? FRANK WILD: I mean don't get me wrong, she's friendly and all. Just, busy. LUCY: Do you like it here? FRANK WILD: There is no where else I'd rather be. Three squares, I do what I love, people don't spit on me. It's safe here. INT. REDEMPTION - CONFERENCE ROOM - DAY Chief Ashford, Rasputin, the Brotherhood Diplomat, and a BROTHERHOOD KNIGHT CAPTAIN (40s) sit at the table. BROTHERHOOD KNIGHT CAPTAIN: You called for a meeting? CHIEF ASHFORD: Yes, I'd like to hear more about the expansion. BROTHERHOOD DIPLOMAT: Ah yes, well- CHIEF ASHFORD: From him. BROTHERHOOD KNIGHT CAPTAIN: Well, we'd like to move into more of your settlements and take control of your mail services- BROTHERHOOD DIPLOMAT: I only- CHIEF ASHFORD: Shhh. Go on. The Knight Captain looks from Chief Ashford to the Diplomat, back to Chief Ashford. BROTHERHOOD KNIGHT CAPTAIN: Yes, well, we want to have more control of your activities. Of course you know that your expansion has caught the eye of the Brotherhood, your mail services especially. Your ability to print and distribute certain materials concerns us. It's our belief that advanced technology in the hands of people too irresponsible to wield it led us to where we are now. We want to make sure we don't go down that road again. Chief Ashford looks at the Diplomat and smirks. CHIEF ASHFORD: You know, it was agriculture that birthed society. Agriculture took us from hunter-gatherers to nobles because of excess...Excess allowed for trade, trade allowed the development of specialized skills. It enabled people to sit and wonder about the world. To create art and pursue knowledge and science. With preservation techniques, this excess would be stored, stockpiled, and hoarded. This is where the nobles come in. The very natural concept of territory evolved into the very humancentric concept of ownership. See long before bombs, guns, even swords, there was another issue that plagued humanity. Existential dread. Now these people who had these stockpiles wanted to ensure that they kept them. Measures were put in place by people who owned a lot to ensure that when times got tough, they and their families would be taken care of. What we have historically called power and influence. They acquired fortunes, took land masses, raised soldiers, waged wars. This was all before we even had advanced technology. The Knight Captain looks from Chief Ashford to the Diplomat and back. BROTHERHOOD KNIGHT CAPTAIN: I appreciate the history lesson, but I fail to see the relevance here. Chief Ashford chuckles. CHIEF ASHFORD: We'll start outfitting the way stations to function as outposts for you. It'll take a little while for us to restructure our mail services to accommodate your presence. We'll have to train people to prep your men, but it shouldn't take too long. We should be able to have it done within 90 days. BROTHERHOOD KNIGHT CAPTAIN: Can you do it in 60? CHIEF ASHFORD: We can do it in 30 if you have the men to spare. INT. HALLWAY - CONTINUOUS The Knight Captain and Diplomat shut the door behind them. BROTHERHOOD KNIGHT CAPTAIN: That went well. Maybe having Diplomats wasn't such a bad idea. The Knight Captain pats him on the shoulder and walks off. The Diplomat looks concerned. EXT. REDEMPTION - LATER Lucy and Unka D walk through the street. People are out and about. There are vendors offering food, drinks, medicine, clothing accessories, and newspapers in front of their storefronts. Lucy goes to the food vendor, Joey Freebaker (15). JOEY FREEBAKER: What'll it be? LUCY: What do you have? JOEY FREEBAKER: We got mirelurk cakes, radpine steak, noodle cups, and food paste. More in the restaurant. LUCY: Wait, did you say radpine steak? JOEY FREEBAKER: Yeah, available this week only. LUCY: Like the rare radpines? JOEY FREEBAKER: I guess. Lucy winces. LUCY: Uh...I'll take a mirelurk cake. UNKA D: I'm fine. Joey Freebaker reaches below the counter and hands Lucy a MIRELURK CAKE. LUCY: How much do I owe you? JOEY FREEBAKER: Huh? LUCY: Caps? How many caps? JOEY FREEBAKER: Caps? I don't understand. LUCY: For the cake...for payment. JOEY FREEBAKER: Uh. I- You just take it. LUCY: For free? JOEY FREEBAKER: I guess. You're holding up the line. LUCY: Oh, uh, sorry. Lucy steps aside and looks around, seeing a Super Mutant, wearing a lab coat and glasses, in the doctors office window. Her eyes bug out of her head. INT. REDEMPTION - CHIEF ASHFORD'S OFFICE - LATER Lucy sits opposite Chief Ashford. LUCY: We're staying. CHIEF ASHFORD: Good. Glad to hear it. What changed your mind? No, wait don't tell me. I'm glad you saw what you needed. I'll introduce you to everyone. The bigwigs anyway. INT. REDEMPTION - CONFERENCE ROOM - LATER Chief Ashford sits at the head of a table, with Lucy beside her. Rasputin, Envoys One and Two, the Head of Wellness, the Head of Resource Production, the Head of Trade are seated at the table. CHIEF ASHFORD: Everyone, I want you to meet Lucy. She's gonna be shadowing me. Rasputin sits his head on the table. Chief Ashford pauses and looks at Rasputin. CHIEF ASHFORD: You okay, Ras?...Ras. Rasputin looks at her. CHIEF ASHFORD: What's wrong buddy? Rasputin hops off the chair, walks over to the Head of Trade, and vomits on his shoes. Chief Ashford stares at the vomit, then looks at the Head of Trade. Rasputin walks to Chief Ashford's side and sits facing the Head of Trade. HEAD OF TRADE: He uh...he must be sick or something. CHIEF ASHFORD: Rasputin hasn't been sick a day since I've found him. HEAD OF TRADE: Maybe it was- CHIEF ASHFORD: Something he ate? HEAD OF TRADE: Yeah...or no... Chief Ashford rubs Rasputin's head. CHIEF ASHFORD: People underestimate the intelligence of animals. Just because they communicate differently. I mean, there certainly are dumb dogs, but Rasputin isn't one of them. He knows how to let me know when somethings wrong...Are you plotting against me? The Head of Trade stammers. EXT. REDEMPTION - EDGE OF TOWN - DAY Chief Ashford, Lucy, the Head of Trade, and Envoys One and Two are standing at the gate. There is a guard, with a sniper rifle, sitting atop the gate in a tower. CHIEF ASHFORD: I'll give you this one and only opportunity to confess to your crimes and if you do so, I promise no harm will come to you. HEAD OF TRADE: R-Really? CHIEF ASHFORD: No. Dick. You tried to kill my dog. Effective immediately, you are no longer considered a citizen of Redemption. You receive none of the protections in the wasteland and as a traitor, will be shot on sight. However, as long as you are headed away from our territories, you will not be touched, but if you so much as turn around and look in this direction, my man here will cut you down where you stand. Chief Ashford hands him a carton of water. HEAD OF TRADE: I...I can't make it out there. All of the settlements in a three days walk belong to you. You're leaving me with no weapons, no armor, one carton of water. Chief Ashford looks around and grabs another carton of water and hands it to him. CHIEF ASHFORD: Here you go. That should get you a little further. You're lucky to be leaving with the clothes on your back, so don't get pushy. HEAD OF TRADE: You're sentencing me to death. CHIEF ASHFORD: I am. HEAD OF TRADE: I'm not leaving. She looks at the Envoys and nods. HEAD OF TRADE: Wait, no! What are you doing! Don't do this! Guys! Please! The Envoys grab the Head of Trade toss him to the ground outside the gate. The cartons of water are tossed beside him. The cartons leak. The Head of Trade stands to his feet, trembling, and starts to look back. CHIEF ASHFORD: Eyes forward. Remember, do not turn around. Do not look back. The Head of Trade picks up the waters and begins walking into the distance. Chief Ashford shouts to the guard. CHIEF ASHFORD: If he turns around, shoot him. She maintains eye contact with the guard for a beat. They turn back toward town. EXT. REDEMPTION - DAY Chief Ashford and Lucy are walking side by side. LUCY: How did you know he was plotting against you? CHIEF ASHFORD: Rasputin doesn't get sick. LUCY: That's it? CHIEF ASHFORD: Yep. LUCY: But how do you know? CHIEF ASHFORD: I know my dog. LUCY: Okay, but why would he do that? CHIEF ASHFORD: In the end it doesn't matter. LUCY: What do you mean? CHIEF ASHFORD: He was in no position to usurp me. LUCY: If that's the case, sending him out to the wasteland like that seems kinda...cruel. CHIEF ASHFORD: There are children alive today because I provided a safe place in the wasteland for their parents to settle. People who otherwise may have never met, or even survived out there. Every decision I have ever made has led to a child born into a world where their parents don't have to scavenge or struggle to feed them. Where their parents don't sell them into slavery out of desperation. They will never have to wonder where their next meal is coming from or whether they have a safe place to lay their head...Anyone who threatens that can only hope I will show them such cruelty...I have a meeting to get to. We'll talk later. EXT. REDEMPTION - DAY Lucy and Unka D are sitting on a bench. UNKA D: Do you really want to stay? LUCY: Yeah, it seems alright here. I wouldn't mind it. Plus, they have a doctor who's a Super Mutant. UNKA D: I promised your parents...your- your mother, uh, I promised her...I'd take care of you. LUCY: Well, I mean, you have. A lot. For like, my whole life. And I mean, it's not like I have a choice anyway. I don't know, maybe it won't be so bad. EXT. REDEMPTION - WAY STATION - DAY Brotherhood soldiers in power armor carry construction materials through the work site. Chief Ashford, the Diplomat, and the Knight Captain oversee the construction. Chief Ashford hands a set of blueprints to the Knight Captain. BROTHERHOOD KNIGHT CAPTAIN: What is this? CHIEF ASHFORD: Finished blueprints. BROTHERHOOD KNIGHT CAPTAIN: This looks different than what you originally showed us. CHIEF ASHFORD: Is that a problem? BROTHERHOOD KNIGHT CAPTAIN: I'll need to run it by my superiors before we move forward. CHIEF ASHFORD: Wait, what rank are you? BROTHERHOOD KNIGHT CAPTAIN: I'm a Knight Captain, ma'am. CHIEF ASHFORD: And you have to run it by your superiors? BROTHERHOOD KNIGHT CAPTAIN: Yes, ma'am. That's protocol. CHIEF ASHFORD: Well what am I talking to you for? We've got forty plus way stations being worked on and we have a deadline. I don't know how you guys operate, but when we are scheduled to have a project completed in a set timeframe, we optimize. We don't have time for you to be running back and forth to discuss changes. I need to be speaking with the decision makers, not the errand boy. BROTHERHOOD KNIGHT CAPTAIN: I- Chief Ashford raises her eyebrows. The Knight Captain looks at the Diplomat and back. BROTHERHOOD KNIGHT CAPTAIN: Okay, uh, I'll see what I can do. CHIEF ASHFORD: Good. The Diplomat smirks. INT. REDEMPTION - CHIEF ASHFORD'S OFFICE - DAY Chief Ashford is at her desk filling out paperwork. The Guard peeks his head in. GUARD: The Brotherhood diplomat is here to speak with you. BROTHERHOOD DIPLOMAT: The plans have been approved. CHIEF ASHFORD: That was fast. The diplomat nods his head. CHIEF ASHFORD: Anything else? BROTHERHOOD DIPLOMAT: Ma'am, uh, the way you spoke with the Knight Captain- CHIEF ASHFORD: Did I hurt his feelings? BROTHERHOOD DIPLOMAT: Well ma'am, we have rank and- CHIEF ASHFORD: Tell him I sincerely apologize for the way I spoke to him. That I was out of line and it was inappropriate. I look forward- Are you getting this? I look forward to working with him in the future and that I'll keep his rank in mind next time. She smiles, then continues filling out her paperwork. EXT. REDEMPTION - WAY STATION - DAY The Diplomat and the Knight Captain are overseeing construction at the way station. BROTHERHOOD DIPLOMAT: We should stop. BROTHERHOOD KNIGHT CAPTAIN: What? Why? BROTHERHOOD DIPLOMAT: It's all too...easy. BROTHERHOOD KNIGHT CAPTAIN: Look, I don't know if I've told you this or not, but I don't like you. BROTHERHOOD DIPLOMAT: I...oh... BROTHERHOOD KNIGHT CAPTAIN: Yeah, when you suggested we ingrain ourselves within her organization with tact and diplomacy, I thought it was the dumbest thing a Scribe had ever suggested. BROTHERHOOD DIPLOMAT: Uh... BROTHERHOOD KNIGHT CAPTAIN: But, I have to admit, we have come far, very far, and we haven't lost a single Brotherhood soldier. I was wrong about you. You're smarter than I gave you credit for...We are on the verge of success. Now is not the time to lose your nerve. INT. REDEMPTION - WAY STATION - NIGHT The Brotherhood soldiers are preparing from bed. EXT. REDEMPTION - WAY STATION - CONTINUOUS The Diplomat exits the way station. The soldiers' suits of power armor are all parked outside. EXT. REDEMPTION - CONTINUOUS The Diplomat takes a leisurely stroll through the town. He spots Chief Ashford. BROTHERHOOD DIPLOMAT: You take the title Chief seriously, don't you? CHIEF ASHFORD: I haven't missed a patrol in almost a decade. BROTHERHOOD DIPLOMAT: I do have to say it's quite impressive that you were able to- The way station explodes in the distance. The Diplomat whips around with a look of horror on his face and starts toward the way station. BROTHERHOOD DIPLOMAT: Was that...was that the... CHIEF ASHFORD: Yeah, they're all dead. All of your men in all of my settlements. My men are clearing out the survivors now...I'll give you three options. Join your brothers, join me, or go back to wherever you came from. Try convincing them you had nothing to do with the coordinated massacre that wiped out every Brotherhood soldier across all of our settlements. See if they believe you...or hold you responsible. But before any of that happens, you're gonna tell me everything I want to know about the Brotherhood. BROTHERHOOD DIPLOMAT: All those lives...It's all my fault. I should never have trusted you. Chief Ashford whistles. Two guards approach. CHIEF ASHFORD: Escort him to his quarters. The guards grab the Diplomat. BROTHERHOOD DIPLOMAT: You have no idea what you've just done. The Brotherhood is going to want blood. CHIEF ASHFORD: Try and get some sleep. We have work to do. MUSIC CUE: "I Didn't Know The Gun Was Loaded" by The Andrews Sisters Chief Ashford looks at the flames in the distance and smirks. FADE TO BLACK. THE END [link] [comments] |
I’ve got a couple questions about properly making builds and PvP events/modes! Posted: 26 May 2021 08:31 PM PDT So, first question: I'm only at lv 22, but for my build, I'm focusing on Guns, more specifically pistols/revolvers and rifles, both automatic/non (explosives as a last resort). After watching a YT video, I've been focusing on Perception and Agility as my main stats (playing with Intelligence too). But, I've noticed that other stats have cards that seems useful time also (stats I'm not focusing on). Question is what's the best way to allocate my points? Am I on the right track so far? Focus on another stat as well? Also, are there any specific perk cards I should look out for with this build in mind? 2. Obviously, I keep seeing different daily events popping up on my screen. At my level, should I ignore these for now or start doing them whenever? [link] [comments] |
