I'd like to start an exclusive club, and support group, for all the poor souls that found all 21 playing cards at the Sierra Madre Posted: 14 Apr 2021 01:31 PM PDT I (still) have no idea how Caravan works but thought to myself before starting Dead Money "maybe I should collect all the cards in the game. How hard can it be?" and went into the Sierra Madre intent on getting all the cards just so I wouldn't regret it later if I left any there. ​ That was a mistake. ​ thought people were overeacting to how agonizing Dead Money was, but within the first 15 minutes of experiencing it for the first time even above level 30 I knew I had entered hell. Some highlights of my journey through the DLC: Navigating the maze of near-identical houses and pathways until 2am while the music track and the constant beeping from the collar weighed against my brain like a cheese grater. Attempting to find several cards only to find that they had glitched through the map and having to reload/ wait inside the police station for 36+ hours to reload the cells. Trying to read Christine's "dialogue" before she got her new voice and trying to understand it within the 2 seconds it would stay on the screen before moving onto the next 6 lines describing more of her hand gestures. Getting attacked by literally 8 ghost people at once after trigger the gala event and needing to fend them all off with my 4 cosmic knives and blunted knife spears (melee 100) and wasting 10+ stimpacks. Thinking the DLC would get less horrible after entering the casino. Losing 10 years off my life from "Heist of the Centuries". Not even bothering to loot Father Elijah for his exclusive loot because I was not going to waste any time and risk sacrificing a few microseconds of escaping the labyrinthine vault again. all 100+ times I quicksaved the game in under 15 hours. Still not understanding how/ why there is a Puesta Del Sol South, Puesta Del Sol North, Salida Del Sol South, and Salida Del Sol North and still not knowing how I was supposed to understand the local/ world map at all.
