Even though its been 210 years, how is car paint so fresh? Posted: 29 Mar 2021 08:00 AM PDT Me and my friend got in an argument earlier over why the cars still have a good amount of paint on them in most cases in Fallout 4. Would there be any lore reasoning for this, or would it just be a graphical thing? [link] [comments] |
What exactly was “The School” mentioned in the Survivalists logs? Posted: 29 Mar 2021 09:27 PM PDT I was reading through the Survivalists logs since I've never done that before, and in one of them he mentions some kids that wondered barefoot into Zion that talked about coming from some place called "The School." One child tells a younger one that the "headmaster" or something will come for him if he doesn't go to sleep. The Survivalist mentions that he better not or he'll "blow his fucking head off." I know there's virtually no information on what "The School" was but I'd appreciate any speculation or other info, this seems like a very interesting thing as it likely occurred a few months or years after the bombs dropped. Posted: 30 Mar 2021 02:08 AM PDT Ingram says in Fallout 4: "Unless you are blind as a bat..." which would confirm the existence of bats in the world of Fallout, however, in Fallout 76, we can see that Scorchbeasts were created from bats. [link] [comments] |
What exactly was going on with the Vault 22 dwellers in Zion Canyon? Posted: 29 Mar 2021 10:02 PM PDT The survivalist logs mention that a group of Vault dwellers with the spore disease from Vault 22 had a presence in Zion. The Survivalist mentions that some of them had the spore sickness and he even had a kid with one. He mentions that they were cannibals and were extremely violent. He killed a few but then the rest left. What exactly was going on with them? This would have been a few decades/years after the war. [link] [comments] |
Why does Doc Mitchell even have a Vitomatic Vigor Tester? Posted: 29 Mar 2021 12:19 PM PDT It seems like such a specific-use machine - how often does Doc Mitchell have to deal with special cases like the Courier to measure their aptitudes? It also begs the question - why is there even a Vigor Tester in Doc Mitchell's house? Who put it there and why? It makes sorta sense to me that the Vitomatic Vigor Tester was a gimmick machine at the Prospector Saloon pre-war. [link] [comments] |
Is there a logical reason Appalachia looks just as run down as the commonwealth/capital wasteland? Posted: 29 Mar 2021 10:44 AM PDT There's a huge time difference between the two games, not sure if there would be an actual reason other than the game assets already existed from FO4 [link] [comments] |
