What happens to the people on the strip who get arrested by Securitrons? Posted: 24 Feb 2021 03:49 AM PST Seeing as there is no in-game jail on the strip, does Mr. House just turn over all criminals who break his laws to the NCR? If this is just part of their new Vegas treaty then does anyone have any evidence of this from dialogue or other sources? SPOILER We see a securitron enter the ultra luxe and arrest Heck Gunderson, though it's easy to imagine he'd be handed directly over to NCR given that he's being charged with killing an NCR citizen, but what if say a person who is not an NCR citizen makes their way onto the strip and commits a non aggressive crime like sabotaging a securitron? [i know we've seen securitrons deal with locals by shooting them but that only seemed to be in response to them rushing the gate, which is arguably a more violent action than committing some sort of espionage]. Since they're not breaking any NCR rules, would they actually be sent off to NCRCF? Not that I think NCR would say no to gov sanctioned slave labor, just wondering if anyone knows where to find evidence of this. Thank you! [link] [comments] |
Did Mr. House have a concrete reason for filling up Vault 21? Posted: 23 Feb 2021 05:56 PM PST Was this actually explained in the story? I found a lot of very reasonable takes regarding this matter, but it seems as though that none of them were actually set in stone. EDIT: Puns definitely intended [link] [comments] |
Was Mr. House part of the Enclave, or know of their existence? Posted: 23 Feb 2021 06:16 PM PST Since House was one of the top heads of American industry, was Mr. House in on the Enclave's plans, or even invited to join them? [link] [comments] |
How robust is the NCR's tech base? Posted: 23 Feb 2021 10:48 AM PST While the NCR seems relatively modern, I'm wondering how strong that tech base really is. Their biggest functioning machine seen in-game, the excavator, is stated to be Pre-War and might not be replaceable if lost. They manufacture Service Rifles and (at least) Ranger Patrol armor, but both of those are implied (via Gun Runner factory having no machinery and instead relying on hand work) or stated via tooltips to be artisan crafted rather than factory-made. Arcade makes a point that eventually they'll run out of pre-War medicines to scavenge (and the developer mod makes the stimpacks you make less effective than normal ones, implying they aren't adequate substitutes). What I'm trying to get at is, do you think the NCR can reach a level of pre-War tech, or will it eventually lose all those devices, and if so, what will their tech base eventually look like once they run out of things to salvage? Do we know anything else about the Erie Stretch besides being mentioned by name? Posted: 23 Feb 2021 05:25 PM PST It seems to have been mentioned in the Pitt, and by the looks of it that is its only significant mention. Does anyone have anymore information regarding this area, even if it's minute? [link] [comments] |

Do different caps also work as currency? Posted: 23 Feb 2021 09:47 AM PST Are caps limited to soda? Are things like wine caps also accepted currency? [link] [comments] |
