| Another clue to the last pre-war US President? Posted: 08 Feb 2021 03:45 PM PST Hello, long time lurker, and I haven't seen this hinted as a clue, so here it goes: I went to the Boylston Club and was going through the terminal and listened to the holotape there, and I feel like I found something that could be a link to the last Pre-War US president. The holotape, "A Toast", has a "final words" type of speech coming from a man named Richard Bradford. The way he speaks and addresses the room, "..allow me to offer this final toast..", can be assumed that Bradford is the highest ranking member of the Boylston club. Here's the transcript of the whole speech if you want more context. The club terminal has a membership policy that can be read, states that membership can be extended to "..current and former Presidents..", which means the last Pre-War President was most likely apart of this club. (he does love his wine) Here's the transcript of the Membership Policy for the Boylston Club. The only other clues we know about the Pre-War US president is that he ran off to San Francisco months before the bombs dropped, and that the first letters of his name is "Di". With what I have discussed above, Di can be short for Dick, and Bradford's first name is Richard. After the bombs dropped, he could have made the trek back to Boston from San Francisco to have one last drink with his closest colleagues and friends, and no better company than his boys. So thoughts? This thought came into my head while visiting the Boylston Club and I've tried to look up answers everywhere of who this man is, and couldn't find much. [link] [comments] |
