Why don't Legion soldiers have shields even though they are trying to replicate the Roman army? Posted: 30 Jan 2021 03:26 PM PST They have blacksmiths and have the resources to make them but why don't they have them? I understand they probably wouldn't do much against bullets but wouldn't they be a godsend (or more like a caesarsend) for the Legion as most of their enemies (excluding the NCR) are melee weilding tribals of the wasteland right? So why don't they use them? [link] [comments] |
What was the real point of Vault 111? Posted: 30 Jan 2021 03:08 AM PST I barely see this theory going around but you can see a more twisted experiment going around Vault 111 than what the game gives you. Yes, all the staff was to wait for a signal from Vault-Tex before opening the doors, to the point they were giving less food and water than other vaults. But people miss the fact that the staff had a source of fresh food perfectly preserved in the form of the cryogenics subjects. Maybe Vault-Tec was testing how long it took for the staff to choose cannibalism over starving but the idea never crossed anyone's mind. [link] [comments] |
How is power armor actually meant to be? Posted: 30 Jan 2021 10:40 PM PST In the first two fallout games, power armor looks to be bulky but still allows for mobility and doesn't turn you into a transformer. Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas show a much less bulky design and makes it look like heavily reinforced combat armor. In fallout 4, power armor is basically a giant mech suit that is almost a vehicle in it's own right, and turns you into optimus prime. Fo3 and FNV both have obvious engine limitations, but how is power armor actually meant to be. As I understand it, power armor is bulky but still allows for mobility, and also resists most small firearms and such, but it's not like you are a space marine capable of tanking a missile. Why don't we see more Chinese vehicles? Posted: 30 Jan 2021 04:15 PM PST If China was sending bombers over America to drop bombs, then why don't we ever see any of them? Heck, why don't we even see any land-vehicles, like jeeps or apcs on the shore, dropped off by Chinese ships? China would need to have hundreds of ships and aircraft to get thrpugh the Pacific theater and get to the USA The only vehicles that are Chinese we ever see are stealth submarines, and a tank, which apparently wasn't even real, rather just the inane ramblings of a PTSD-ridden General? Seems like kinda an oversight, but maybe it's just another limitation of the older engines. Will be pretty cool to see if we ever DO find out the stylings and architecture of China, though. Why are there diffrent pip boys in diffrent vaults? Posted: 30 Jan 2021 02:15 PM PST If the vaults were all built around the same time, how did some have diffrent versions then other vaults? [link] [comments] |
How much of the brotherhood stayed in the Capital Wasteland? Posted: 30 Jan 2021 08:26 PM PST When the BoS went to the commonwealth with the Prydwyn did they take their whole force? [link] [comments] |
Why do sentry bots look different from their classic fallout counterparts? Posted: 30 Jan 2021 03:42 AM PST The eyebots, Mr handies and robobrains looked similar in fallout 1, 2, 3, NV and 4. But sentry bots look different starting from fallout 3. Heres a comparison between classic fallout sentry bots and modern fallout sentry bots. Is there a reason/lore behind this change in appearance? So what Date is the Canon Date for Robco's Purchase of REPCONN? Posted: 30 Jan 2021 11:56 AM PST New Vegas entirely screwed up the lore with REPCONN, however, this isn't about that horrid Mr. Handy retcon, this is about the tour guide. When you talk to the tour guide to get the history on REPCONN, he'll say Robco purchased REPCONN in 2076, then asking about Robco, he'll say 2075. So which date is the correct, canon date?
