    Why are cows called brahmin?

Seems a bit weird that people in post-apocalyptic America would make the connection between cows and Hinduism.

What kind of Winter Coats are availible in the fallout universe

What's the lore behind the gunners? Is there any way of interaction with them?

    Posted: 03 Dec 2020 11:41 AM PST

Gunners as we know are professional highest class quality mercenaries who will take any job if pay is decent. But what about their inner structure? Their hierarchy? There are enemies marked as gunner conscript, gunner major, gunner colonel and etc, so I assume they use pre-war military system. How similar are they with BOS in combat efficiency?

In the vault tec terminal in the citadel the terminal lists vault 76 as a DC area vault. Why? Isn’t it in West Virginia?

Question about conscription in pre war America and NCR

    Posted: 03 Dec 2020 10:51 AM PST

I was thinking about how Nate in F4 joined the army when reading another post, and then wondered if he joined voluntarily or through conscription because I'm not sure if it is ever said. So was there conscription in pre war America? And also I guess is there conscription in the NCR as well because I don't remember if there is either.

does the existence of ultracite in 76 essentially sequester the appalachian colonies from the capital wasteland / west coast / commonwealth

    Posted: 03 Dec 2020 03:08 PM PST

it's portrayed as a super element in 76, and the fact that we see none of it in 3 or 4 specifically imply that appalachia didn't survive, or somehow hasn't had any contact with the two aforementioned regions. this to me seems like an indicator that appalachia was wiped out or completely obliterated.

What sort of economic system do Minutemen-run settlements use?

    Posted: 03 Dec 2020 10:18 AM PST

I'm trying to figure out what sort of economic system settlements like Sanctuary Hills are using in-game? I'm thinking its sort of a mixed economy, somewhat authoritarian too.

    Are all ghouls pre-war?

    Posted: 03 Dec 2020 01:05 PM PST

So, do we have non-pre war ghouls? Can you ghoulify if you lets say, live in the Glowing sea? Or get a nuke blasted near you or some reason. (I know of Hancock, but he got that from very special weird drug. So anyone else, non-pre war?)
