Need Help On How To Stop Freezing With Fallout 3 Posted: 18 Dec 2020 09:03 AM PST I know there's a million threads about this topic, but none of them helped me. I'm experiencing freezing, almost always in combat. It especially happens when fighting super mutants, but also occasionally happens with raiders and other enemies (like fire ants). It seems to occur more often while shooting (especially in vats) or while doing something crazy. For example using the ripper against mutants is a guaranteed insta crash. I feel like i've tried everything, so in a hopeful attempt I figured i'd ask around here. (Here's what i've tried) Edited the fallout.ini and fallout_default.ini, and added the line. Changed compatibility properties and ran as administrator. Unofficial fallout 3 patch. Command Extender Mod. I've tried with no mods, and I don't have any extra mods. Ran in windows mode. Updated drivers. Hardware is not a problem, (very expensive computer) ​ Help appreciated, is this game even runnable on windows 10? submitted by /u/TheModestHavel [link] [comments]
