Posted: 19 Nov 2020 04:45 AM PST Hey folks, With work, kids, lifting weights, other hobbies and yardwork, I don't have time most days to play any FNV. That being said, I always take two weeks off around Christmas break and I wind up having enough time morning/night to get in a complete playthrough. I've done this for... 5 years in a row? Maybe longer. Anyone else do the same? Any suggestions for the style of playthrough? [link] [comments]

Ever feel like things are a bit too worn down? Posted: 19 Nov 2020 08:46 AM PST Most places in New Vegas are extremely worn down from all the fallout and age and damage but why are some of the more upbeat populated places as ugly as they are? I understand that the world lacks the manufacturing of the old world to replace all the broken stuff, but that doesn't explain away that the capacity to simply remove staggeringly hideous things is underutilized. Take for example the Novac motel - you get this weird reception lady who tries really hard to be friendly and warm with a promise of hospitality. There is a real attempt by this woman to make you feel like you belong there (even if after closer inspection she has other motives, but thats beside the point) You go inside your room and there is an obvious attempt to impress you with a clean TV, a prepared meal, a teddy on the bed and a radio and chessboard. It looks like shit but the sentiment is totally visible from a Fallout post-apocalyptic point of view There is this attempt and attitude to impress and yet no one thought about removing all the shattered mirrors and tattered broken paintings and the boards on the windows though. Maybe wastelanders are so used to everything looking worn down that fixing a room doesnt even compute, but at the same time youd think that survivors would try their hardest to make the environment look less like the remains of a nuclear devastation. I think that maybe Fallout tries a bit too hard to remind you that everything is fucked up when I can imagine that even the survivors of a nuclear fallout would honestly try a bit harder to make tidy of things if they could. What’s your favorite side quest / hidden gem? Posted: 18 Nov 2020 07:12 PM PST Someone did a post in a Skyrim and I was curious to your thoughts on this. The Mojave has so any great side quests as well as hidden gems just waiting to be revealed. It's not exactly a "gem" but I did really enjoy how you can follow Father Elijah's journey through all the DLCs. [link] [comments]

I just found out that you can feed one of your human companions to the Ultra-Lux Casino people. Posted: 18 Nov 2020 03:59 PM PST In my excitement I gave them Boone. The only downside was that I didn't get invited to their dinner party. They could've at least given me a sample. [link] [comments]
Posted: 18 Nov 2020 08:19 PM PST I love this game, but is there a way to play it without it freezing or crashing? I own it plus the dlc for ps3. Does it run better on pc? [link] [comments] |
