    Recently, i did the side quest (kinda) thing in Sloan wherein i need to get a Deathclaw Mother Egg. I had a hard time killing them using my Gauss Rifle so i sold it and bought the AMR and boy did i make the right decision.

    With the supressor, it annihilates everything i see without getting detected. It truly is a magnificent weapon

    TIL that the REPCONN building is based on the real world PEPCON building, which was levelled by a series of explosions known as the 'PEPCON disaster'. An investigation estimated that the largest explosion was equivalent to 0.25 kiloton of TNT, about the same yield as a tactical nuclear weapon.

    Performance Issues on RTX 2060 Super (144 hz monitor, 60+ fps)

    Hi r/fnv,

    I recently downloaded FNV again after upgrading my computer about 6 months ago.

    I am having difficulty achieving 144 fps, mostly my game stays at around ~90 fps.

    Before you tell me that FNV is too unoptimized / can't run at above 60 fps without breaking,

    All Bethesda games can run at framerates higher than 60 fps without issue (with certain .ini tweaks). I have played through the entirety of Oblivion, Fallout 3, Fallout New Vegas, Skyrim, and Fallout 4 all while playing at 120 fps without issue.

    Prior to upgrading, I had a GTX 1060 and an i5-7600k and was able to consistently get 120 fps in FNV.

    I now have an RTX 2060 Super and an i5-9600k and can only get 90 fps in FNV.

    My questions are:

    1. Has anyone had performance issues with RTX cards in FNV?
    2. What .ini tweaks / mods have helped you make FNV more performant? I have tried:

    PLEASE HELP ME, Fallout ambient music piano sound

    This has been driving me crazy, I remember a piano playing some ambient track in FNV and it sounds VERY similar to this songs into notes( https://youtu.be/0v3kqp2ja1A ) PLEASE HELP me find this sound it has been driving me crazy.

    I got 100% in New vegas!

    After 200+ hours I've gotten every single achievement. Hardest ones were definitely picking 50 pockets, win 30 caravan games and The legend of the star of course

    Great Khan reputation and quests - is merciful thug too low a rep to get quests for them?

    I did the peaceful option with the great khans in Boulder City, but came across a group of them while having Boone in my party. One thing led to another, and now there are 3 dead Khans (I looked and apparently having Boone in your party can occasionally make them hostile)

    My rep with them is now at merciful thug. Is that rep too low to get some of the quests at red rock canyon? Was planning on going the independent route and trying to give them their good ending, and was wondering if that is now in jeopardy.

    So, I was talking to the people who got attacked by the NCR. The guy said, j think he said Lou. Lou get back here. Tenant! Lou Tenant! That's what he said. Then another guy said, I think you mean lieutenant. Guy is dumb as mutants anyways. MUTANTS? LOU TENANT? WHERE HAVE I HEARD THAT BEFORE? COUGH FALLOUT COUGH.
