Is the Pip-Boy radio actually louder inside interiors in vanilla FNV? Posted: 02 Oct 2020 09:05 AM PDT I have been building a mod build for many weeks and I am really happy about it. But there is one thing I noticed by accidence and found... weird? Did anyone ever notice that the Pip-Boy radio is around 20% louder inside interior cells? It doesnt change the volume directly on entering the cell but once the next track or voice line from the DJ gets played. I just found this so odd, since I didnt notice anything like that from vanilla FNV but then again I never listened much to the radio inside the pipboy anyway. Is this actually thing or is some of my mods at fault? I am not really using audio mods or mods that are supposed to touch the radio, which makes it even weirder. [link] [comments]

Posted: 02 Oct 2020 04:47 AM PDT Required mod: No Main Storyline Ultimatums. This mod allows you to work for any faction and not get the Dont Tread On The Bear/Beware The Wrath Of Caesar quest. Combine this with a high sneak skill and tactfull use of the reputation reset when you reach the strip, you can easily gain Idolized reputation with both the NCR and Legion. Use this to make a playthrough where you work for both and eventually betray one, potentialy both if you are doing the Yes Man/Mr House storyline. [link] [comments]
The Legion and Glen Canyon Dam Posted: 01 Oct 2020 10:20 PM PDT Recently while reading about the Glen Canyon dam I realized it is firmly within The Legion's territory. I can't seem to find any references to it in the Fallout lore however. While it's entirely possible that this is an oversight by the developers, one such possibility is that Ceaser was too arrogant to utilize this resource and had an almost idyllic view of Hoover Dam, but he could theoretically cut off one of the most important tributaries of the Colorado River effectively starving New Vegas making it rife for a takeover. Though 200 years after the bombs fell it is entirely possible Glen Canyon Dam has collapsed all together. See Risks to the Glen Canyon Dam While there's a strong likelihood this is a developer oversight, I personally subscribe to the theory that the Glen Canyon has collapsed with 200 years of deterioration and pre existing factors that would contribute to it's destruction. Should I repair weapons/armor before selling it? Posted: 01 Oct 2020 09:19 PM PDT What's more profitable? Selling guns and armor as is? Or repairing one piece until it's at or close to max condition then selling it [link] [comments]
